Nothing like waking up on a Monday and seeing fresh Tweets from Zach Bryan, who was presumably up all night.

For those who didn’t see, Zach Bryan recently reactivated his Twitter (X) account and vowed to do so after every Philadelphia Eagles game, aiming to stay out of trouble online.

“I’m gonna have to reactivate the day after every birds game this season to stay out of trouble I stg.”

However, as with most promises surrounding the “Oklahoma Smokeshow” singer, fans were not expecting it to be long before he got in trouble for one of his online rants, and it appears that we are witnessing one unfold this fine Monday morning.

Over the weekend, Zach Bryan took the stage at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, the first-ever concert at the Big House, in front of 112,000 people, officially breaking the record for the largest ticketed concert attendance in U.S. history —a record that had been set just a little over a year ago.

The previous record for the largest ticketed concert was held by George Strait, who played Texas A&M University’s Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, last June, alongside fellow Texas natives Parker McCollum and Catie Offerman. The attendance for that show was 110,905, just over a thousand less than Zach was estimated to have in Michigan.

Zach Bryan is known for shooting off messages early in the morning after a big weekend, so it appears that ZB might still be celebrating his Michigan show with a round of early morning Tweets. Are they still called breakfast beers if you never went to bed… asking for a friend? But after sharing his gratitude for the fans who came to see him at Michigan Stadium, as well as the staff, security, chefs, police and more, he turned the conversation into calling out keyboard warriors and haters who always comment negative sentiments on his posts.

In a series of tweets, he said:

“Bro, why does everyone that talks s*** on the internet look so busted. It’s painfully obvious you’re projecting on others bc you were bullied in school. We understand and forgive you.”

I mean, he’s not exactly wrong about keyboard warriors, however fans were quick to call out ZB for engaging in some of this petty behavior himself.

Most recently, at his Michigan show, someone placed urinal screens featuring Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy’s face in the bathrooms at the Big House over the weekend. And while there is no confirmation that Zach was involved, it’s no secret that Zach and Portnoy aren’t exactly fans of each other. After Zach’s messy and public breakup with Barstool Sports personality and Portnoy’s former podcast co-host, Brianna Chickenfry, Portnoy was a fierce defender of his friend and co-worker and went scorched earth on Zach, even dropping a diss track called “Smallest Man” (that was honestly kind of a banger).

Portnoy has admitted that he never liked Zach and has called him a “fraud,” while also revealing that the country singer had banned him from attending one of his concerts over a joke that Portnoy had made months before. And earlier this year, Zach re-ignited (literally) the feud when he posted an Instagram story featuring the country singer burning a Barstool Sports flag.

All that to say, while Zach certainly isn’t lying about keyboard warriors, it’s a prime example of the adage “those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.” And fans were quick to call out ZB for that.

However, that was just the beginning of what ZB truly felt about keyboard warriors online. In since-deleted Tweets, Bryan expanded on his thoughts with three separate posts calling out older social media users who like to talk crap about others online:

“Got 40-year-old dbags who hate their wives commenting on other people relationships like they’re on The Housewives of Orange County and wine drinking alcoholic women that have never had a nice thing to say about anyone chirping non stop. Free entertainment forever and I am here.”

“Don’t get me started on creepy 50-year-olds who trash-talk people in their 20s’ personal lives.”

“Idiots hear something sitting on their a** in a doom scroll and believe it like it’s in the Bible.

The internet s*** is so weird and if you let it will drive you crazy. Okay I’m done everyone have the best Monday of their life go birds.”

And it didn’t take long for Zach Bryan to call out a social media user who did just what Zach Bryan detailed in these posts. A man told Zach Bryan that he needed to “manage your estrogen better,” and naturally, that set Zach Bryan off too.

He dug into his profile and found some bodybuilding pictures and fired back:

“Bro u got photos in your underwear posing on your Twitter, and you look 45, relax on the advice.”

I mean, the dude looks like he’s in pretty damn good shape…

But after doing some damage control by deleting those messages, ZB circled back to his show at Michigan Stadium and ended his posting spree, again thanking fans.

While Zach Bryan is certainly right about keyboard warriors and internet trolls, why even entertain them? My brother in Christ, you just performed the largest ticketed concert in American history… why are you reading, and even worse, REPLYING, to internet comments? You’re one of the biggest superstars in all of music and you’re worried ab0ut what 47 year old Kathy from Benton, Arkansas, thinks? Give zero brain space to that and you’ll be much better off… and you won’t have to deactivate your X account every other week.

Another day, another ZB Twitter rant… how long before he deactivates his entire account? The post Zach Bryan Goes Off On Keyboard Warriors In Early Morning Rant: “Everyone That Talks S*** On The Internet Looks So Busted” first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
