Arsenal got back to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Brentford on Wednesday evening.
An early goal from Mikel Merino and a late one from substitute Bukayo Saka bookended a uneventful evening at The Emirates.
The Gunners were good in the first half, probably should’ve been further ahead at the break. But when Merino and Saka missed basically open goals at 1-0, it felt like a sucker-punch may be on the way for Arsenal.
Luckily the players defended resolutely and never really gave Brentford a chance.

Man of the match: Ben White. We’ve not seen him for a while, but due to injuries he needed to play the full 90 minutes and he did fantastic. Brilliant assist for the opening Arsenal goal.
