Lords Of Acid to Tour the U.S. This Spring

It’s looking like a busy year for Belgian electronica outfit Lords Of Acid, as not only are they planning on hitting 29 different U.S. cities in an upcoming tour this spring, but they’re also planning on releasing their first new album in eight years.

Set to kick off on April 25 in Las Vegas during Sick New World, the ‘Cheeky Freaky’ tour will run until it comes to an end on May 31 in San Jose, California. Along the way, they’ll make stops and play at places like Denver, Chicago, Detroit, NYC, and Dallas, just to name a few.

According to the band, the tour will not only focus on old classics, but feature some new material as well. Hence the fact that they have a new record coming in the future. Praga Khan said the prospect of playing new music live is exciting for the group at large.

“For the first time in eight years, there is truly new material. A new album is coming, and the ‘Cheeky Freaky Tour’ ushers in a new era for the band, with respect for the past, but with a clear focus on the future.”

Coming along for the tour will be openers Dead On A Sunday, Princess Superstar, Tony and the Kiki, and MZ NEON. Some of the dates will either feature just Lords Of Acid or some shows will see Dead On A Sunday missing from the bill.
