Arsenal retained their place atop the Champions League table with a 3-0 win in Brugge on Wednesday night.
A much-changed Arsenal XI started well, dominating early proceedings. Piero Hincapie went close twice, but it was a wondergoal from Noni Madueke that broke the deadlock.
Brugge finished the first half strong, but Arsenal quickly dampened any hopes of a comeback early in the second half with another Madueke goal, this time from a few yards, then Gabriel Martinelli followed in Noni’s footsteps to net another screamer to make it three.
