Riley Green Has Perfect Response After Ella Langley Addresses The Non-Stop Speculation On Her Personal Life

Okay, that’s pretty funny…

This past Friday, Ella Langley released a new song called “Never Met Anyone Like You” with Hardy, which is not at all what most fans were expecting. In the teasers, which only included the first couple verses of the song, it sounded like a sweet love tune… but it’s far from that. The last verse takes a ruthless turn, and Ella reveals how they guy she was so in love with and thought the world “hooked up with her friend” and wasn’t the guy she thought he was at all:

“I’ve never met anyone like you

God couldn’t do it again if He tried to
I’ve never met anyone, never met anyone like you

And naturally, fans immediately started speculating that it was about Riley Green.

Of course, over the last several months, I think we’ve all seen the rumors about Ella and her duet partner Riley Green, who fans have quite literally been obsessed with since they released their hit song “You Look Like You Love Me” last year. Megan Moroney also got pulled into the rumors about a love triangle when she was spotted hanging out with Riley Green, and because of all that, many interpreted Ella’s new song as some sort of response to the fact that Riley and Megan were hanging out.

These TikTok videos speculating on every aspect of her dating life have racked up million and million of views, spreading rumors like wildfire. I can only imagine how annoying it must be if you’re the one at the center of it all, and Ella has had enough, sharing a video on TikTok late last week basically silencing everyone who has been making stuff up about her personal life over the last several months:

“When it’s a love song, ‘We know who this is about.’ When it’s a breakup song, ‘We know who this is about.’ Maybe I have a life outside of social media drama.”

And I’d be willing to bet Riley feels the same way as she does, especially after seeing his response to Ella’s video, where he shared the Denzel Washington Fallen movie meme in the comments which has the simple phrase:

“Phew! Good news.”
