Pennsylvania Middle School Goes Viral Using Extremely NSFW Country Song On TikTok Post

YIKES.
Someone is going to be fired over this, I fear. In the workplace, mistakes happen. It’s part of being human; we are not perfect beings, and mistakes are bound to happen here and there. However, when these mistakes occur, as an employer, the hope is that your team identifies the issues and resolves them before a larger audience becomes aware of them.
However, when something is sent out to the public with a mistake involved, you just hope it’s not bad enough to get you in trouble.
Unfortunately for a South Carolina middle school’s social media team, it appears that someone will be receiving a stern reprimand for a mistake made on the school’s TikTok account.
With kids on summer break, a TikTok account claiming to be from Lionville Middle School, located in the Downingtown Area of Pennsylvania, is going viral for its summer posts showcasing the good work of its faculty and staff. While some of you might have read that previous sentence and glossed over the word “claiming,” I want you to keep that in mind as this story unfolds.
The other day, the account shared a collage of images showcasing a food drive that occurred at the school.
“HUGE shoutout to the staff, students, and families of LMS for providing a holiday meal for 20 families in our community. Special thanks to Ms. Swift for organizing along with Ms. Schmidt and Ms. Duffield for helping to deliver the food.”
TikTok does not allow for us to embed image-based posts, so if you want to check it out, CLICK HERE.
Seems pretty innocent, right? That’s until you unmute the carousel of images and hear the AI-generated country song playing in the background. The song is inappropriate for school and unacceptable in any professional setting. It’s textbook NSFW content.
The comments section began popping off in no time, noting that someone is in major trouble for this mess-up and the use of dirty audio. The post has been up for three days, and there has been no attempt to fix the mistake.
“Y’all are gonna have some angry parents on your FB page.”
“Y’all, it’s summer break, it could be DAYS before they realize.”
“It HAS BEEN DAYS.”
“The admin won’t see these comments ’til Monday morning, and by then it’ll be too late.”
“I feel like I’m witnessing an important part of history.”
“LIONVILLE MIDDLE SCHOOL NOOOOOOO.”
“Linda from admin is going to LOSE IT on Monday.”
“This will become legend among students for the foreseeable future.”
“I cannot believe this app is real sometimes.”
“As a teacher of 18 years…the second-hand embarrassment I have for them is unreal.”
That last comment…oof.
However, after further investigation, it appears that the account may not be run by the school. Many of the posts feature songs that are not suitable for middle school, and with the limited number of posts on the page, it raises a flag if this is a troll account.
Or the school admin has no idea how to work TikTok… but I’m going to hope it’s the first option. The other option is that a student at the school runs it, but not with approval from anyone at the school.
A few users also began to pick up on their posting trends and also feel that this might be a student trolling their school:
“Okay, okay. I have a theory that a student is running this account, and it’s not affiliated with the school in any way, and it’s either a giant prank or revenge. Or both. Either way. No notes.”
“FOUR VIDEOS DOWN ON THEIR PAGE IS 100000000X WORSE YALL.”
“So a boomer runs this account, right?”
“This is either the best or the worst way for a middle school to go viral, I’m undecided which one – but I’m here for it.”
No matter who is running this account, the realistic captions and page fully present itself as Lionville Middle School is quite the look for the school. Whoever is running this account is putting Lionville Middle School on the map, that’s for sure…The post Pennsylvania Middle School Goes Viral Using Extremely NSFW Country Song On TikTok Post first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
