Future Shredder Incoming: Nita Strauss Announces Pregnancy

You can soon add the title of “mom” to the already impressive resume that guitar badass and Alice Cooper bandmate Nita Strauss has accumulated over the years. Nearly two years after getting married to her manager and drummer Josh Villalta, the couple took to social media to announce the great news.

In an Instagram post on her personal page yesterday, Strauss posted a picture of a sonogram and ultrasound while also expressing her excitement over what’s coming in just nine months or so.

“Looks like 2026 will be the best year yet. We’ve waited so long for this miracle and now the time is finally here! He will come into this world surrounded by so much love! So excited to meet our little man this summer.”

It’s been a busy couple of years for Strauss, who not only released her solo album Call of the Void back in 2023, but has also toured extensively as the guitarist for Alice Cooper and Demi Lovato. That year, Villalta proposed to Strauss, with their wedding taking place in May 2024, which was very well attended by notable music and entertainment.
