Another song from the next album?
Sure sounds like it…
Zach Bryan announced a couple weeks ago that his new project With Heaven On Top was on the way, though fans are going to have to wait a little while to hear it because the release date is set for January 9th of 2026:
It was originally supposed to be an EP, but after a post on Instagram a little while ago, it sounds like it’s shaping up to be more of a full-length album:
“The songs I’m releasing are ‘River Washed Hair’ and ‘Streets Of London.’ Songs like ‘Dreams,’ ‘Madeline,’ ‘Plastic Cigarette,’ ‘Bowery,’ and ‘Rockaway’ will all be on the record. I’m working on making it special so everyone just f****** chill for a sec. ‘Runny Eggs,’ ‘Skin,’ ‘Savior Complex,’ and a s*** load more that no one’s ever heard are on it!
Just been living well and writing often. It’ll be here when it’s here! Some of us prefer to write our own records.”
In July, Bryan put out three new songs in “Streets of London,” “Song For You,” and “River Washed Hair” (which started a whole new saga with his ex, Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry), as well as the single “Madeline,” and today, he’s teasing a new one seemingly titled “Bowery.” It’s one he’s teased before, but this is the first time we’ve heard
The Bowery Ballroom is a famous venue in New York City, so I’m guessing that’s what he’s referring to because he spends a lot of time there, and in this song, it finds him meeting a girl and having quite a memorable night:
“Young man, there’s a place,
You can go, you can hide,
I know you’ll never be done or fully satisfied,
You want the world, want the girl,
And everything in between,
She was sitting next to me,
Last night at the Bowery,
Sick to her stomach as she’s sipping gin and tonic,
Telling me she’d rather be dead than sleep alone”
The comments section is full of fans wanting this song released sooner rather than later, and considering he’s been putting out a significant amount of songs this summer considering there’s no album for a while, I would be surprised if he follows suit with this one.

Fans were also quick to point out the Kings Of Leon vibes, which is admittedly one of Zach Bryan’s favorite bands of all time, but it sounds like Zach is actually doing them one better, and the track will feature Caleb Followill and the boys. In an Instagram story, he shared a video of him sitting at some kind of New York City dive bar with Kings Of Leon, but that bass riff and those lead licks are just unmistakably their sound.
Kings Of Leon were also featured as an opener at his recent run of shows at New Jersey’s Met Life Stadium. He brought them out, along with New Jersey native and rock legend, Bruce Springsteen, for a cover of the Boss’ hit, “Atlantic City.”
