Two more dates added to The Sphere.
Earlier this month, Zac Brown Band announced a limited number of shows at The Las Vegas Sphere, a venue he had been talking about for over a year. While he teased the residency over a year ago on Theo Von’s podcast, This Past Weekend, few details were shared after teasing the possibility of the shows.
Some fans even questioned whether the residency would happen after the Zac Brown Band scrubbed their Instagram page, leaving fans confused about what was next for the band.
Zac Brown took to social media following the announcement of their new album, Love & Fear, to reveal a four-show residency, scheduled for December 5th (the release date of the forthcoming record), 6th, 12th, and 13th.
“Bringing our new album ‘Love & Fear’ to Sphere Las Vegas is a dream come true. It’s my masterpiece so far. This show is the story of my life that I have never shared, a journey through my imagination, music, and stories that have defined who I am. All of this brought to life in the incredible immersive environment of Sphere.
It will be a unique experience where you can really feel every note, every word, right there with us. We can’t wait to share it with the fans. – Zac Brown”
Given that Zac Brown has been talking about this series of shows for over a year, fans are in for a treat. He’s taken his time putting together this show to highlight insane graphics, new music, and stellar storytelling.
And this is a show that many of his fans want to see. After the show’s presale access took place on July 21st, Zac Brown and The Sphere decided to add additional shows, having seen the high demand for tickets.
The 3-time Grammy Award-winning group announced two additional Sphere shows, scheduled for Friday, January 9th, and Saturday, January 10th, to allow more fans to enjoy the show and art that The Sphere offers. I said it before, and I’ll repeat it. If the graphics are anything like this preview, I’m in. This looks incredible.
If you missed the chance to snag tickets for the first four shows, make sure you are locked in to buy tickets for these additional dates. Tickets will be available to the general public starting Friday, July 25, at 10:00 AM PST.
New Record, ‘Love & Fear’
On July 8th, the Zac Brown Band left fans confused, excited, and worried after scrubbing their Instagram page of all existing posts and sharing a video highlighting moments from their tours over the past few years. In the video’s caption, they write a message implying that a significant change is underway for the band, but particularly, the mention of “not a goodbye” had fans a bit on edge:
“There’s no way to sum up what the last chapter has meant to us… We’ve played thousands of shows, crossed countless state lines, and seen every kind of weather and welcome you could imagine.
Whether you saw us when we were playing covers in Georgia dive bars or you just found us on your drive home last month… You’ve been a part of this journey. You’ve sung the words, screamed the choruses, cried with us, danced with us, and let this music into your life. That kind of connection is not lost on us. It never will be.
From every hand we shook, every sign we saw in the crowd, every voice lifted back to us from the front row to the lawn, we felt your love. And we gave it right back, night after night. This isn’t goodbye. It’s a thank you. A reflection.
The next chapter? It’s the biggest one yet. We’ll see you there.”
After reading the cryptic message from the group, it began to raise questions about their next move, and it was hard for fans to think about what could be next for the Georgia-founded band. Could they be revamping the band’s members? Renaming the band? Tapping into a new sound? I mean, your last album was called The Comeback…. you can’t make two comebacks, back to back, right?
Today, the group revealed what this “next chapter” of music means to them by unveiling their next studio record, Love & Fear.
“Two sides of the same truth. New album “Love & Fear” 12.05.25“
The 13-track album is set to release everywhere on December 5th and features some stellar artists, including Dolly Parton, Marcus King, and Snoop Dogg. To celebrate the announcement of the record, the Zac Brown Band released a new tune with Snoop Dogg, titled “Let It Run,” and it’s absolutely terrible.
However, “Let It Run” is not the first song from the forthcoming project that fans have been gifted with. Earlier this year, the group released the breezy and light single “I Ain’t Worried About It,” which at the time seemed to be a one-off release.
