Some explosive allegations from the daughter of country music royalty.

Grace Kelley, the 29-year old daughter of Wynonna Judd, has been in and out of jail for the better part of the past decade, mostly related to drug use. She was arrested three different times in 2024 alone, including in April when she was arrested in Alabama for indecent exposure. She was also charged with obstructing governmental operations. Police say she “exposed her breasts and lower body” at the intersection of I-65 and Highway 14, and when confronted by officers, sat on the side of the road and refused to comply. They later added soliciting prostitution to the charges.

In August of 2024, Kelley was arrested in Georgia and sent to Carroll County Jail on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, driving with a suspended/revoked license, and using motorcycle equipment improperly, public records show. She was released on $2,750 bond. She failed to appear, and a bench warrant was issued in the state of Georgia. And back in October near Charlottesville, Virginia, Kelley was arrested for stealing a church van.

At this time in her life, Grace Kelley’s situation was dire, prompting her mother, Wynonna Judd, to take over care of her two-year-old granddaughter. But things have turned around over the past year, with Kelley getting clean and even becoming a member of the church that she stole the van from.

After becoming friends with the church’s pastor and his wife, Kent and Megan Hart, Kelley was even baptized earlier this year, crediting the couple with turning her life around:

“If it wasn’t for Pastor Kent and Megan Hart, I would still be out there using. I’d still be out there doing the same thing I was.”

But in a recent interview with Daily Progress, Kelley shed some light on what led her to a life of drugs and crime – including some dark allegations against her country music superstar mother.

Back in 2007, Wynonna’s second husband, D.R. Roach was arrested and ultimately pled guilty to attempt to commit aggravated sexual battery. But according to Kelley, who was 10 years old at the time of the abuse, when she told Wynonna that she was being sexually abused by her then-stepfather, her mother brushed it under the rug – instead suggesting that they go to counseling:

“Then when they found out in counseling what he had done to me, they’re like, ‘Wait a minute. We’re going to report this to law enforcement.'”

Kelley says it wasn’t until he was arrested and the news of the abuse became public that her mother filed for divorce from Roach, who was serving as Wynonna’s security guard and road manager when the two were married in 2003:

“When he was arrested and it came out in the news, that’s when she divorced him.

So is my mom rich? Yeah, she’s so rich that she was able to sweep me under the rug and abuse me and then cover it all up. I don’t want to talk bad about my mom, but we’ll just say she’s a good performer. She was never a mother.”

Luckily, it seems like Kelley is finally doing well after years of trauma. She’s currently working on a book, and has settled down in Charlottesville, Virginia. And she credits a forgiving God for turning her life around:

“I believe that now’s my time. I never had a voice, and I was iffy about talking about all this stuff, but no matter what is said about me, the Bible says the truth will set you free.”
