Uh… What the Hell is Going on With Atreyu?

Can anyone please explain to me what the hell’s going on with Atreyu? Earlier today, the band completely wiped out their own Instagram page with over 169,000 followers and replaced it with a single black box. Strange.

What’s even stranger still is the fact that they changed their Instagram profile bio to simply say “R.I.P.”. You usually don’t post something like that unless something bad happened. Some are speculating that this is just a tease to some new material, but that would be a weird way to go about it.

And then you consider the fact that they’re supposed to go on tour in a couple weeks to celebrate 21 years of The Curse. The tour was supposed to include Unearth playing The Oncoming Storm in full, Norma Jean playing O God, the Aftermath in full, Eighteen Visions playing cuts from Obsession and Until The Ink Runs Out, He Is Legend playing I Am Hollywood in full, and Zero 9:36.
