Koe Wetzel has had a stellar deer season this year. The “Werewolf” singer has hit multiple states, harvesting whitetail monsters in each of them.
With the end of the year quickly approaching, many country stars are soaking up all the time they get off the road, spending time with family or doing activities they love, as many tours are coming to a close, if they have not already. And while the end of the year usually means an end to touring for most country music artists, it also coincides with another passion for many of them… hunting season.
Koe Wetzel often spends his time off the road in the woods hunting. While one might think that Koe Wetzel becoming a father might slow down his time in the stand, he’s found a way to keep hunting sacred this year as he navigates fatherhood… and I bet one day we will see little Woods on hunts with her father.
Over the years, he’s harvested some phenomenal animals. While Wetzel is an outdoorsman of all kinds, loving both hunting and fishing, I always look forward to the fall to see what kind of damage he does during deer season.
Back in November, Koe Wetzel showed off the stunning trophy buck he took down in Colorado during the rifle season.
“Thank you lord for blessing me with the opportunity to arrow this eastern Colorado giant yesterday evening!
My first self-filmed hunt turned out to be one I’ll never forget. Chasing these big whitetails in the rut never gets old!”
Self-filmed, you say… I hope that we get to see that footage one day because I bet it’s a great watch. Not to mention, I bet Koe Wetzel has some top-tier hunting commentary. Whether we see the footage or not, Wetzel is leaving the mountains with a stunning new wall mount and a full freezer.
Not long after that, Wetzel headed to Illinois, where he often hunts during deer season, and took down another monster. If you want to check out what he harvested, you can do so HERE.
To close things out for the year, the Texas native headed north over the Red River into Oklahoma for one final hunt. Oklahoma is in the midst of its deer archery season, which began in October and will run through January 15, 2026.
Koe Wetzel was highly blessed and favored this year, as he again took down an absolute beast. Wetzel posed next to the eight-pointer with a big ole grin on his face.
“Christmas came early this year!”
It sure did.
Congrats on a highly successful season, Mr. Wetzel.
Just for fun, check out Wetzel’s 2023 Illinois whitetail hunt, while you’re here:
