Gavin Adcock Fools Some Fans With Black Eye Photo: “Almost Got Me For A Second”

Gavin Adcock had some fans worried about him after he shared a picture of himself on his Instagram story with quite the shiner on his eye.
Of course, he’s never been the type to back down from a scrap…
Most recently, Adcock jumped off stage while performing in Anderson, South Carolina, for Rock the Country to yell at Nickelback’s sound operator for trying to throw Adcock’s dad out of the show. After the incident occurred, Adcock explains that his acoustic guitar player’s mom was being yelled at for placing a drink on the soundboard. Although it was empty, the sound guy approached her rudely, which led Adcock’s father to step in. After a few words were exchanged, Adcock sees what was going down from the stage, pauses ‘Cigarette,’ and runs down the alley to make sure his father was not kicked out.
@sarahleeradio This was worth the drive to #rockthecountry2025 @GavinAdcockMusic lit this dude all the way up! #gavinadcock is the last dude you want to make mad. I love this man #countrymusic #gavinadcockconcert ♬ original sound – Sarah Lee
So naturally, when Adcock shared a picture of his face beaten in on Instagram, fans were quick to think something happened to the “Actin’ Up Again” singer. While many fans hilariously commented on who they thought the culprit was regarding the recent dramas in which Adcock has been involved, others thought the shiner was genuine:
“I blame Beyoncé’s fan base or Nickelback’s bum a$$ sound guy.”
“Beyoncé found you.”
“Damn, I wanna see what the other guy looks like LMFAO.”
“What’d Beyoncé do this time?”
“Need a Band-Aid…?”
“Ole lady hit him, not the mailbox.”
“Zach Bryan could never.”
“Nooooo, they got my fave sh** talker.”
“What happens at Old Hickory stays at Old Hickory… until the photos and videos get posted.”
But after taking a closer second look, it appears that this is makeup. If Adcock had been in a fight, his eye would not have been that purple so soon after. If you zoom in on the image, it appears to be eye shadow placed over the top of his skin, rather than the skin itself being bruised. A few fans caught onto this and have a hunch that Adcock is filming a music video sporting this look.
“Good makeup, music vid coming soon!”
“We doing music videos or real things?”
“Give that makeup artist a raise.”
“Some decent makeup. Should be a good video.”
“Almost got me for a second, good makeup artist. Looking forward to the music video.”
Gavin Adcock is gearing up to release his third studio project, Own Worst Enemy, on Friday, August 15th, so if I had to guess, he’s working on a music video to share with fans for one of his new songs. On the off chance this isn’t makeup… We need a story ASAP.
Today, Adcock shared one final single, “Light A Fire,” before the record is gifted to fans.
