It seems like everybody who visits Nashville these days is here for a bachelor or bachelorette party. The bachelor parties are a little harder to spot because they aren’t as coordinated as the bachelorette parties, but walk down Broadway in downtown Nashville and you’ll see group after group of girls wearing matching shirts and sashes as they celebrate their upcoming weddings.

Eric Church was in Nashville this weekend celebrating the release of his latest album, Evangeline vs. The Machine, with two incredible sold-out shows at The Pinnacle. (You can read more about those shows here).
And after the show on Saturday, he decided to keep the party going – where else? – at his downtown Nashville bar, Chief’s.
Church opened his own spot on Broadway last April, and since then has been a regular fixture at Chief’s, from his To Beat The Devil residency to popping in when he has friends playing on stage in the two-story music venue, the Neon Steeple.
When it comes to artists who frequent their own bars, Church is one of the few who actually spend time at their Broadway venue. He designed the place and has his touches on every inch of the venue. And unlike many of the other artist-branded bars on Broadway, Church actually owns his bar alongside his friend Ben Weprin with AJ Capital Partners, so it’s not really a surprise that Chief and his group migrated to 200 Broadway after the show on Saturday.
Church was joined by a whole host of friends, and even hopped up on stage with his longtime backup singer Joanna Cotten to perform an incredible duet of “Over When It’s Over.”
