Arsenal expected to complete at least SIX deadline day deals

Arsenal are set to be one of the busiest clubs on transfer deadline day, with at least six major moves expected to go through before the window slams shut. After an aggressive summer of spending, the Gunners are now focusing on balancing their squad, with both arrivals and departures imminent.

The headline arrival is Piero Hincapié, with the Bayer Leverkusen defender completing his medical on Sunday and now ready to finalise his switch to North London. Arsenal have been chasing a left-sided defender for weeks, and the Ecuador international looks set to bolster Mikel Arteta’s backline before the deadline passes, completing an elite option of defenders for the club.

In terms of exits, Jakub Kiwior is on the verge of sealing a permanent move to Porto. The Polish defender, who joined Arsenal in 2023, has struggled to cement a starting place and is expected to complete his switch to Portugal today.

Another midfielder on the move is Albert Sambi Lokonga. The Belgian completed his medical with Hamburg and is set to join the Bundesliga side, as Arsenal trim their options in central midfield.

Fabio Vieira could also be heading out, with Stuttgart and West Ham both vying for his signature. Having failed to establish himself under Arteta, a departure looks increasingly likely as the window ticks down.

Reiss Nelson has been linked with several clubs across the summer, but Crystal Palace now appear to be leading the race for his services. With opportunities limited at Arsenal following the arrival of new attacking options, a move across London would offer Nelson the chance to revive his Premier League career.

Oleksandr Zinchenko is another high-profile name set to depart. The Ukrainian full-back has fallen behind in the pecking order and Marseille are among the clubs pushing hard to secure his signature.

If all goes to plan, Arsenal will complete at least six senior deals on deadline day, reshaping Arteta’s squad for the season ahead. With Hincapié arriving and a number of players moving on, this would complete the biggest transfer window North London has seen in years.
