Making dreams come true in San Francisco.
Zach Bryan is on a roll of good deeds. Zach Bryan is currently on tour for his limited number of stadium shows and his affordable Red Rocks show. Typically, there is a large gap between each of these shows, making it unlike a traditional tour. However, this past week, ZB has been out west, having a quick turnaround from Red Rocks to his show in San Francisco.
Last night, August 15th, ZB ran it back with the King of Leon for a show at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. The night’s bill also included fellow country acts, the Turnpike Troubadours and Noeline Hofmann.
The night was filled with many memorable moments, including Zach Bryan performing “Purple Gas” with Noeline Hofmann and bringing Gabriella Rose on stage to sing their newly released duet “Madeline.” Zach Bryan and Kings of Leon also brought their duet “Bowery” to the stage, along with the debut performance of their second unreleased collaboration, “We’re Onto Something.”

However, the most memorable portion of the show came from a fan interaction.
Near the end of his setlist, ZB saw a sign being held up by a fan in the crowd. The sign had a wish list of three items, two of which were checked. The checked boxes read as follows:
“Beat Cancer. Red Rocks with Zach”
And the third, not yet checked box read:
“Play ‘Headed South’?”
Zach Bryan made the kid’s dream come true, checking off the last wish on his list by bringing him on stage to perform “Headed South” with him.
“That’s kind of sick, guys.”
Zach Bryan says to the crowd before he lets the fan introduce himself. Hayden, the fan, got strapped up with an acoustic guitar and shared with the audience that he hails from South Dakota. What a haul to head to Red Rocks and then San Fran to see the Oklahoma native.
Hayden got on stage and absolutely crushed the performance. At first, Zach Bryan helped lead the lyrical delivery of the 2019 single, and then later stepped back to let the fans take center stage fully.
It’s also impressive that Hayden stepped on stage and not only delivered a stellar vocal performance but also played guitar in front of that crowd, which is worthy of a standing ovation.

According to fan comments, Zach Bryan gave him the guitar to keep after the performance as well. Talk about a memorable night for Hayden.
