The Two Fans Zach Bryan Brought Onstage At Red Rocks Didn’t Even Have Tickets When They Showed Up

This past weekend, Zach Bryan played the iconic Red Rocks venue for the 3rd time in his career (4th show technically), and he put on one to remember. This was a highly anticipated show from fans, as it allowed most to buy tickets at an affordable price in comparison to the bigger stadium venues that Zach has been playing at more frequently.

While the ticket buying process was a bit controversial to some, Bryan tried to remain fair to fans who actually wanted to see him, and not feed into ticket resellers who just wanted to make a quick buck.

Red Rocks is a venue notorious for providing amazing views and a more intimate atmosphere between the audience and the performer. Zach really delivered with fan service during last night’s show, interacting with many audience members.

The most notable fan interaction from the show was Zach inviting two young concert goers up onstage to sing “Heading South” with him, which is a trend he likes to do with audience members. Many different angles were recorded and posted online from the killer performance, which are now going viral on TikTok.

The two boy’s names are Preston Maggard and Arie Matarazzo, and other Bryan fans were blown away by their performance. Apparently, the two didn’t even have a ticket before arriving at the venue but were lucky enough to snag one before the show. There’s a huge jump between ticketless to Zach Bryan’s duet partner, so I bet these boys are feeling on top of the world right now.

“Let’s see if this guy can do this”

The boys then point at one another to convince Zach that they were both qualified for the job, which Zach responds well to, proceeding to invite them onstage.

“For sure, man”

After making their way through the crowd, they join Bryan onstage. The two introduce themselves with no hesitation, seemingly thrilled about the opportunity and their sheer luck.

Their ability to have such incredible stage presence right off the bat at this magnitude of a venue is honestly impressive. Zach’s crew gives one a guitar, and the other takes the mic, and the three deliver an amazing performance.

According to comments left by other fans that attended the show, the two showed up to the venue around 5:30 a.m. to attempt to get a seat, one even allegedly paying $900 dollars for his ticket. So much for affordable ticket prices, but hey—a fan’s gotta do what a fan’s gotta do. I guess the early bird gets the chance to sing onstage. I’m sure in retrospect the time and money were worth it in the end.
