Someone Played The Chicago Bulls Intro Music Through A Speaker As Michael Jordan Walked Into Court To Testify Against NASCAR

That’s Michael Jordan’s music, by God.
Only makes sense for Michael Jordan to bring out the same intro music for the courtroom that he used to run out onto the court in his playing days with the Chicago Bulls. If you are wondering why the great Michael Jordan is walking into a courthouse in Charlotte, North Carolina, it’s because he and the 23XI Racing team that he co-owns is suing NASCAR.
The lawsuit filed back in 2024 accuses NASCAR and CEO Jim France of “unlawful monopolization of premier stock car racing in order to enrich themselves at the expense of the premier stock car racing teams.” The teams cite NASCAR’s ownership of many of the tracks at which it races, as well as requirements that teams buy their parts from suppliers chosen by NASCAR, as proof that the sanctioning body has a monopoly on the sport of stock car racing.
According to the lawsuit:
“The France family and NASCAR are monopolistic bullies. And bullies will continue to impose their will to hurt others until their targets stand up and refuse to be victims. That moment has now arrived.”
Jordan spoke on the litigation when the lawsuit was first filed, and said he felt it was important to ensure that the market remains competitive, and believed that NASCAR was effectively stifling competition:
“Today’s action shows I’m willing to fight for a competitive market where everyone wins. Everyone knows that I have always been a fierce competitor, and that will to win is what drives me and the entire 23XI team each and every week out on the track. I love the sport of racing and the passion of our fans, but the way NASCAR is run today is unfair to teams, drivers, sponsors, and fans.”
Yeah… I wouldn’t want to face Michael Jordan in anything. That competitive fire is alive and well, and we all know that he has a knack for taking things personally thanks to ESPN’s The Last Dance documentary series. There’s no doubt that Michael Jordan is going to give this lawsuit everything he’s got, as he has with everything else he’s done in his life.
That’s why he’s even testifying in court today (December 5). The federal antitrust trial will see the former basketball (and baseball?) star take the stand in the courtroom. And funny enough, when he was walking into the courthouse, a fan off in the distance hilariously decided to blare “Sirius” by The Alan Parsons Project through a speaker (or possibly a car).
If you know, you know:
“As Michael Jordan walked into court for today’s proceedings, a fan was playing the Chicago Bulls’ into music. Jordan is scheduled to testify this afternoon.”
Are you allowed to aura farm like that as you walk into court?
As the caption for the video states, “Sirius” is the iconic song that would be used to welcome Jordan onto the court during his dominant, Chicago Bulls run in the 1980s and 1990s. If NASCAR sees this video, they’ll be shaking in their boots. Nothing strikes fear in the opponent more than Michael Jordan walking to the hit song by The Alan Parsons Project.
And you can even hear in the video that Jordan isn’t worried about testifying in the slightest:
“Feeling fine.”
I’d bet he’s feeling that way because he had his intro music to get his head right playing off in the distance.
Here’s this, just in case you needed a refresher of how well “Sirius” by The Alan Parsons Project can get the people hyped up:
