President Trump Dunks On Cracker Barrel With Pair Of Memes Following Logo Disaster

Pretty wild that we live in the timeline where our president posts memes on a regular basis, eh?
I think we all knew that Donald Trump was going to change things up when he entered into the political sphere, but I’d argue that none of us could have predicted that he’d be sharing memes on social media from the Oval Office (just assuming that’s where he sends them out from). The latest meme run that President Trump has gone on focuses on the recent Cracker Barrel controversy… and subsequent recovery.
After an incredible, shaming movement by the people of this great country, Cracker Barrel announced that they would scrap their new logo that they had rolled out and revert back to the “Old Timer sitting next to Barrel” logo that has represented their brand for close to five decades. The official Cracker Barrel social media account shared the news, and their decision to go back on their rebrand basically proved that peer pressure works:
“We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel. We said we would listen, and we have. Our new logo is going away and our ‘Old Timer’ will remain.
At Cracker Barrel, it’s always been – and always will be – about serving up delicious food, warm welcomes, and the kind of country hospitality that feels like family. As a proud American institution, our 70,000 hardworking employees look forward to welcoming you to our table soon.”
Definitely the right move by the Cracker Barrel corporation.
And many think that President Trump’s message directed at the southern eatery – which was sent out the day they decided to go back to their original logo – had a lot to do with Cracker Barrel’s decision to listen to the masses. The president took to Truth Social back in August, urging Cracker Barrel to reverse the changes to the logo after the massive losses suffered by the company:
“Cracker Barrel should go back to the old logo, admit a mistake based on customer response (the ultimate Poll), and manage the company better than ever before. They got a Billion Dollars worth of free publicity if they play their cards right. Very tricky to do, but a great opportunity.
Have a major News Conference today. Make Cracker Barrel a WINNER again. Remember, in just a short period of time I made the United States of America the ‘HOTTEST’ Country anywhere in the World. One year ago, it was ‘DEAD.’ Good luck!”
