Post Malone Jokes That He Really Did The SKIMS Shoot To Get Texts From “A Bunch Of Ladies” – “We’ll See How The Photoshop Comes In”

Well, girls, you might have a chance after all…

This week, it was announced that rapper-turned-country star Post Malone is the latest model for Kim Kardashian-owned company SKIMS, which sells women’s undergarments, clothes, and swimsuits has recently expanded its sales into menswear.

So of course, that meant having Posty nearly naked in the mountains of Utah as part of the new campaign…

The ladies went wild online, and left some pretty crazy thirst comments seeing him in the full-on cowboy look, and in some of the shots, leaving very little to the imagination:

And while on a break from the shoot, Post talked to GQ about the new partnership, his busy year on tour, writing new music, and of course, his life as a dad to a young daughter, who apparently already loves George Strait… he’s raising her right.

But Post also talked about how out of his comfort zone it was to be photographed in his underwear for an ad campaign millions of people will see:

“I had Skims on, but it was the first time I’ve ever experienced it. And it was really a lot of fun, it made me feel like a handsome son of a b****.”

In terms of getting in shape and ready to be shirtless on camera, Post says he ate “a lot of fried chicken,” though he doesn’t think it worked:

Just a lot of fried chicken. I tried to bulk up a little bit. But it didn’t work.”

He must not read his own comments section…

“It’s very hard being this handsome. We’re just out here. We just did a little fly-fishing. We’re going to ride a little bit. They had me holding an ax. That was probably the toughest I’ve ever felt in my entire life. Just running around the beautiful state of Utah. I wish you could see this right now, it is stunning. This piece of property that they have out here is just absolutely stunning.”

Overall, it sounds like it was a great experience, as scary as it might’ve been:

“Yes, ma’am. It’s terrifying for me. I’ve never done anything like that. It’s like a Sasquatch sighting, essentially, is what it feels like. Everyone’s going to call it in to the cops and say, ‘We saw Bigfoot out here.’ Or, Average-foot. Sorry.

It’s just been amazing. The whole team is sick. Theo [Wenner, the photographer] is sick. And there’s a lot of pine trees and it is badass. And we’re capturing shots. And I can’t stop preaching just about where we are.”

But the tidbit the ladies probably want to know the most about is Posty’s love life, and he says that was the real goal of doing this shoot… so that when it was finally released, he would get texts from “a bunch of ladies”:

“Well, hopefully I get a text from a bunch of ladies. I mean, that’s the bit. But we’ll see.”

The interviewer, Eileen Cartter, joked that would obviously be the main reason to do a SKIMS campaign, and the ever-humble Post agreed, but added that they have a big budget for Photoshop, which will help:

“Yes. Well, we’ll see how the Photoshop comes in. They’ve got a lot of budget behind this.”

He really must never read his comments section… I imagine his phone, and any sort of DM section on any of his social media platforms, were at capacity and I don’t think he’s ever had a problem when it comes to the ladies.

He tends to keep his love life pretty private, though it has made headlines here and there over the years, but it sounds like now he might on the market and this type of photoshoot is certainly going to have the girls’ attention:
