Here’s how I rated the players:
David Raya – 7
Jurrien Timber – 10 – Two goals, an assist and a clean sheet, if that doesn’t earn you a 10/10 from right back, nothing will. He also went 32/35 passes, 6/9 duels and 3 key passes. All in 64′ minutes and back to rest before Anfield.
William Saliba – 8
Gabriel – 8
Riccardo Calafiori – 8
Martin Zubimendi – 7
Martin Odegaard – N/A (substituted with an injury early)
Ethan Nwaneri – 7
Declan Rice – 8 – Looked back to his best today, a couple more incredible deliveries from corners, 63/65 passes and looked much fitter.
Bukayo Saka – 8
Noni Madueke- 7
Viktor Gyokeres – 9 – Had to work hard and his teammates still not getting him into the game as much as we’d like, but he responded to his critics today with a lovely solo goal followed by a convincing penalty.
Men of the match: Jurrien Timber.
