A lot can be said about new ownership taking something that’s seen better days and turning it into something better. Look at the New York Mets and their new-ish billionaire owner Steve Cohen. Dude took over and the Mets have just been so much fun to watch compared to the bum ass Wilpons. Same thing happened to the Summer Slaughter Tour — last year’s iteration left people scratching their heads while this year’s version is pretty fucking kick ass.

That’s thanks to the fact that Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta took that shit over. Dude knows how to put a show together, that’s been obvious for a while now. So when the tour came to Philly’s Union Transfer, of course we had to send Jess Ripper out to take photos.
