An all-star lineup just got even better.

Jamey Johnson, Aaron Lewis, Lee Greenwood and Aaron Tippin are just a few of the names that have been added this week to the all-star ’90s country concert coming to Huntsville, Alabama next month.

Announced back in October, An All‑Star Salute to ’90s Country: Honky Tonk Time Machine will take place at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville on “Throwback Thursday,” February 5, 2026 for a one-night only television concert special featuring over 30 of the biggest names in ’90s country.

And let me tell you, I couldn’t have put together a better lineup if I tried.

Artists originally announced for the show include Rhett Akins, John Berry, Tracy Byrd, Paulette Carlson of Highway 101, Deana Carter, Mark Chesnutt, Mark Collie, Confederate Railroad, Billy Dean, Andy Griggs, Wade Hayes, Ty Herndon, The Kentucky Headhunters, Tracy Lawrence, Neal McCoy, Lorrie Morgan, Paul Overstreet, Lee Roy Parnell, Michael Peterson, Collin Raye, Ricochet, Doug Stone, Rick Trevino, Tanya Tucker, Bryan White, Mark Wills, Michelle Wright, and ’90s country supergroup The Frontmen, which is made up of Tim Rushlow of Little Texas, Larry Stewart of Restless Heart and Richie McDonald of Lonestar.

But earlier this week, more names were added to the lineup including Jamey Johnson, Aaron Lewis, Janie Fricke, Forester Sisters, Lee Greenwood, Michael Ray, Aaron Tippin, Terry McBride of McBride & The Ride, Carlene Carter, T. Graham Brown, Ken Mellons and Eric Blankenship.

In addition to pretty much being the soundtrack to my childhood, together the artists on the lineup combined for over 60 #1 hits and more than 50 million records sold.

The show is being produced by the same team that brought us George Jones: Still Playin’ Possum, and Songs & Stories of Dean Dillon, which were also filmed at Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center. (If you missed either of those, they were absolutely incredible all-star concerts).

I’ve gotta admit, I’m getting pretty jealous of Huntsville for getting all these amazing all-star shows.

A few years ago we made an April Fools Day post announcing a ’90s country festival featuring our dream lineup, and it looked a lot like the lineup of this show. I grew up listening to ’90s country, like so many other people, and I consider it one of the golden eras of country music not just because of the nostalgia factor but because country music was just so much better back then.

This is one show that any ’90s country fan is going to want to make plans to travel for, and luckily Huntsville is just a quick drive from Nashville if you want to make a full country music weekend out of it.

Of course the ’90s country sound is coming back to today’s country music thanks to artists like Zach Top, Jake Worthington and Randall King, just to name a few. But at the same time, a lot of the original artists that I grew up listening to are still out on the road and making music too.

And for one night only in Huntsville, you’ll be able to see many of them on the same show.
