Morgan Wallen To Release Limited Edition ‘I’m The Problem’ CD Zine Filled With Exclusive Interviews, Articles & More

Turns out it wasn’t a deluxe edition after all.

Morgan Wallen released his fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, back in May, and it was a huge success, moving close to 500,000 units in the first week it was out, which is just beyond incredible and an astronomical number.

Upon its release (and the weeks following), I’m The Problem broke Wallen’s previously set record of most songs charted on the Billboard Hot 100 in a single week (37). Additionally, he became the first artist ever to spend at least 10 weeks atop the all-genre Billboard’s 200 chart with three consecutive albums and even skyrocketed all the way up to eight-most weeks spent on the chart by any artist in its history. Recently, he also became the first solo act in history to score multiple 20-week #1 hits on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart with “What I Want” featuring Tate McRae.

Recently, fans have started to speculate that Morgan might be putting out a deluxe edition of it sometime soon after Wallen not only released his cover of “Graveyard Whistling” to all streaming platforms (complete with the same artwork present on I’m The Problem) but also a remix of the highly controversial “Miami,” featuring Lil Wayne and Rick Ross.

Morgan’s fan account on Instagram, Club Wallen, shared a cryptic post about a letter Morgan referenced back around the time of the album’s release, and it immediately spun fans into a frenzy with speculation that a deluxe record could be coming very soon. In an interview with Kelleigh Bannen for Apple Music’s Today Country, she asked Morgan about a letter his father wrote to him in the liner notes, which she described as “tender,” and Morgan explained he had no idea how personal it would be. He also hinted at “a book” to go along with the album release:

“Yeah, I knew he was gonna do it, but I mean, I didn’t give him any direction on what to say or anything like that. He probably was caught off guard by me even asking him to do something like that…”

In reality, fans were right about something new coming from the “Last Night” singer; however, it wasn’t a deluxe edition of I’m The Problem. Instead, Wallen will be treating fans to a limited edition I’m The Problem CD Zine (or in other words, a book) celebrating the album, its 12 weeks at #1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 and more.

As for what the I’m The Problem zine will include, the description of the book promises exclusive interviews with the likes of Wallen himself and other collaborators, articles reflecting on the record penned by the “Whiskey Glasses” singer, exclusive lyric sheets of all 37 songs and, of course, the highly anticipated letter from Morgan’s father.

A description of the zine reads as follows:

“The 12-week Billboard #1 album I’m The Problem is expanded into this collectible limited-edition 100-page glossy-cover zine including articles written by Morgan Wallen, interviews with him and key collaborators on the project, exclusive never-before-seen photos, lyrics from all 37 tracks and I’m The Problem on 2-Disc CD.”

Taking a closer look at Wallen’s website, it was revealed that the interviews will include the likes of Wallen, producer, Joey Moi, co-writers, Blake Pendergrass and Charlie Handsome and Wallen’s father, Tommy.

Additionally, there will be six unique, multi-page features from Wallen present in the book with the titles being the following: “Flipping The Script, “Beat Songs,” “Early Inspirations,” “Building The Sound,” “Home Team” and “Back to Bluegrass.”

The I’m The Problem zine is available for purchase now, retailing at $49.99 before shipping and handling with orders beginning to ship out on Friday, December 19th. You can purchase the zine on Wallen’s website here.
