Morgan Wallen Fans Are Noticing Some Striking Similarities Between Him & NASCAR Icon Dale Earnhardt

Welcome to the world of NASCAR, Morgan Wallen girlies.

The two worlds have been colliding a lot over the last couple weeks, with Morgan releasing the songs “Number 3 and Number 7” with Eric Church, and “I Ain’t Comin’ Back” with Post Malone on his new album, both of which name drop Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty, respectively. Morgan also attended the Cracker Barrel 400 race in Nashville on Sunday, where he was pictured hanging out with The King himself:

Of course, the fantastic, four-part docuseries Earnhardt, which focuses on the life and legacy of the late, great NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt premiered recently on Prime Video and has been very successful thus far. Featuring interviews from Dale’s friends, family, and obviously his son, the great Dale Jr., the documentary also features never-before-seen footage of Dale during his racing career from both his personal and professional life.

The film has been a huge hit, and it’s incredibly well done, even for people who maybe aren’t too interested in racing, there’s a huge human interest aspect to it and tons of Dale’s family members, including his kids Dale Jr., Kelley and Kerry, are all featured in it and talk in detail about their dad and the good and bad that came with having him as a father.

And with so much focus on those two things, I guess Morgan’s fans have noticed some eerie similarities between Morgan and Dale… I’ve seen quite a few videos on TikTok now with girls pointing out that they think they look a lot alike, and I think the mustache definitely helps. I mean, I don’t know if I really see it, but if Morgan bringing NASCAR to the attention of his millions of fans that have a huge demographic of young girls, I’m here for it.

The most viral video pieced together photos of a young Dale Earnhardt, mostly with pictures from the documentary, and in addition to Morgan’s mustache, I think his style adds to their similarities too:

Tons of people in the comments seemed to agree and said they kept thinking while watching the documentary that they thought Dale Sr. and Morgan looked alike, and I’m just glad so many people are watching it and learning about the icon that is Dale Earnhardt:
