Julio Cesar Lopez Zavala, who was captured on video assaulting concertgoers at a RÜFÜS DU SOL show in Pasadena, has reportedly been ordered to wear an ankle monitor and will return to court in October.

Zavala, 23, appeared before a judge last week following his arrest in connection with an assault that occurred during the electronic music group’s August 16th show at Rose Bowl Stadium. The Pasadena Police Department said Zavala attacked three individuals after becoming agitated when a drink was inadvertently spilled on him.

One of the victims, Shelby Elston, took to social media to share footage of the ordeal in its wake and said she was unable to identify the perpetrator after he disappeared into the crowd. Tips from online sleuths ultimately led Elston to identify Zavala, whom she accused of violently beating her to the point of unconsciousness.

Despite the allegations, the judge determined that Zavala does not pose a threat to public safety, according to NBC 4 Los Angeles. He was released on his own recognizance but must wear an ankle monitoring device until further notice.

Zavala is scheduled to return to court on October 21st for his next hearing in the case.
