Linkin Park Played a Short Set to Support Twitch Streamer Kai Cenat’s Ongoing Fundraiser

You may not know who popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat is and that’s just fine. You also don’t necessarily need to know what the hell a “Mafiathon 3” is to understand this story. All you need to know is Cenat pulls enough weight these days that he can get Linkin Park to play a five song set in his bedroom for a livestream.

But if you want to know all about how that went down, don’t worry — here’s the details. Apparently, Cenat’s been streaming for literal weeks without end in order to raise enough funds to build a school in Nigeria. Today’s the 29th consecutive day that you can watch right now.

Over the course of this stream event, Cenat’s gotten multiple celebrities to show up to his bedroom, including Mariah Carey, Marlon Wayans, Selena Gomez, and now Linkin Park. They played five songs: “What I’ve Done,” “Heavy Is The Crown,” “In The End,” “The Emptiness Machine,” and “Faint.”

The performance came after Cenat broke the Twitch record of the most paid subscribers at over 700,000 paid members, but he also reached his goal of one million monthly subscribers. A lot of that was thanks in part to Snoop Dogg, eBay, crocs, StateFarm, and Bose contributing over 125,000 paid subs as gifts to people watching the stream. He’s the first person on Twitch to achieve those numbers.

Linkin Park are currently about a month out from their planned Latin American tour to close out 2025. They’ve already announced a number of dates at the beginning of 2026, so be sure to check that out below to see if they’re hitting a venue near you.
