Lainey Wilson & Duck Hodges Have One Request For Anyone Making AI-Generated Photos Of Their Wedding (Which Has Not Happened Yet)

Lainey Wilson fans are ready for her and Duck Hodges to tie the knot after he proposed earlier this year at George Jones’ estate. The “4x4xU” singer found her forever, taking her relationship with the NFL player turned realtor, and Hodges did good on the ring. I mean, talk about a rock.

After the engagement, Wilson spilled about the gorgeous rock, which she said Duck designed after compiling photos of giant rings she had sent him as a joke throughout their relationship.

She was very sweet in saying that she would’ve said yes even if he got her a “little tiny thing,” but luckily, he went above and beyond:

“And we haven’t even started planning, we need to really like sit down and make that a priority, but I’m sure it’ll be something that’s just very, very simple. Honestly, as a joke right when we first started dating, because we knew pretty much immediately, we were like, okay, we’re gonna be in each other‘s lives… it just felt that natural.

And as a joke, I had texted him some big rings, being like, ‘This is what I like.’ He was like, ‘Oh Lord, I better start saving now.’ We’ve been together for four years, and what he did is, he just he went in and designed it and kind of put some of those rings together that I sent him. I’d have said yes if it was just a tiny little thing, but he messed up. He messed up.

He makes it really easy to write love songs. I can’t believe I’m saying that. Hopefully he’s not in here, cause he’s gonna get a big head, but he’s a good person.”

As Wilson shared the details of her ring, she and Duck Hodges have not begun planning their wedding. At one point, she even joked that she was going to make him wait for the wedding, since he had made her wait so long before proposing.

“I told him I’m gonna make him wait. He made me wait for 4 years. I’m gonna make him wait before we start planning this thing. We hadn’t really covered any ground on it just yet, but we’re taking our time and it’s gonna be right and it’s gonna be beautiful and, you know, what it’s supposed to be about.”

But even after sharing with fans that it will be a minute before they meet at the altar due to her busy schedule, that has not stopped some from speculating that the two might already be married. With the rise of AI use and AI-generated headlines, Lainey Wilson and Duck Hodges have seen images of “their wedding.”

Lainey Wilson and Duck Hodges have gotten a good laugh from some of these AI-generated images of their wedding, but have a message for anyone making these images moving forward. Wilson asks her finacé what he wants to tell AI, to which Duck looks into the camera and says:

“If you’re gonna put out stuff about us, I mean, at least make us look good. I mean, we look like s***!” 

Hodges signed off on the post in the caption:

He’s not wrong, after all. Some of these AI-generated images are so painfully fake that it’s hard to believe that some people fall for them. I support this message. If you’re going to use AI to spread rumors, at least make it believable.
