The ex-Man City winger was linked with a return to the Premier League and a possible move to Arsenal, but instead decided on a move to Turkey – unfortunately for Mourinho he chose Galatasaray over his club. But now they could add Walker to that list, having submitted an official bid to City for the England international. Despite refusing to rule out a possible stay at the Etihad, it appears Walker’s Man City career is over. The 35-year-old revealed on his podcast that Pep Guardiola appeared to say farewell for good before his loan move to Italy. “When you come to say goodbye, it’s hard,” he said.
