It seems as if rumors of a Morgan Wallen and Drake collaboration being in the works have been going on for years.

From Wallen’s now-famous appearance alongside the rapper in his music video for “You Broke My Heart” in 2023 to Drake’s recent walkout before his concert in Houston back in June, it’s more than apparent that the two musical giants have formed somewhat of a friendship. Couple that with the hilarious clip of Drake on a livestream telling his viewers he needs to “play some of that Morgs,” and it’s pretty clear the two have been all but teasing fans with a crossover.

@dduullcce love me some morgan ???? #drake #raptv #drizzydrake #draketiktok #morganwallen #morganwallentiktok #drakeandmorgan #wallentiktok #youbrokemyheart #collaboration #fyp #trending #relatable #countryandrap ♬ original sound – ????????????????????????????????‍♀️

Of course, a collaboration between the two would make an incredible amount of success. Despite having some competitors in their respective genres, most notably Zach Bryan and Kendrick Lamar, it’s pretty apparent that both Wallen and Drake are the biggest artists in both rap in country, not only today but for the past five years as a whole. Between Drake being the highest-selling artist of all time with over 298.5 million units sold in the U.S., according to the RIAA and Wallen himself continually breaking Billboard records and dominating the charts, a crossover between the two feels like a no-brainer.

With so many rumblings over the past few years, Drake reignited the flames once again last night at his second of three concerts in Berlin. During his walkout to the stage, the “Marvin’s Room” singer was wearing an Ariat jacket with a none other than a photo of Wallen’s face from the I’m The Problem album cover on the back of it.

Though there is, of course, no confirmation on whether or not Drake and Wallen are actually collaborating on a song together, this didn’t stop fans on X from convincing themselves that a new song is on the horizon, with some fans speculating that the “Last Night’ singer will appear on the Canadian rapper’s upcoming album, Iceman.

As Wallen continues to experiment more with rap, most notably on his recent remix of the highly controversial “Miami” with Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, it seems like the perfect time to finally get a crossover between the two. Though it would make many country purists not only roll their eyes but subsequently condemn the 32-year-old singer/songwriter more than they do already, it simply feels like a no-brainer.

Much like we saw with the Post Malone collab, a Morgan x Drake song would simply print money and all but guarantee a billion streams on Spotify alone for the two. For now, however, will just have to wait and see when they finally decide to pull the trigger on a release.The post Fans Are Convinced A Collaboration Is Inevitable As Drake Dons Morgan Wallen Jacket At Berlin Concert first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
