Everything We Know About Every Taylor Sheridan Show Coming In 2025 & Beyond

Everything We Know About Every Taylor Sheridan Show Coming In 2025 & Beyond

It’s no secret that Taylor Sheridan’s repertoire of shows on Paramount and Paramount+ has grown drastically over the past couple of years. It all started with Yellowstone, which exploded into an entire universe of prequels, spinoffs, and modern-day offshoots that compares, in some ways, to what Disney has done with the Star Wars universe. The shows just keep coming…

On top of that, we have the Sylvester Stallone led Tulsa King, Special Ops: Lioness, Lawman: Bass Reeves (Sheridan was just a producer on this project), Mayor Of Kingstown starring Jeremy Renner, and then his latest masterpiece, Landman.

We all know how Yellowstone ended, but it’s far from the end of the story….  1923 gave us a riveting, and somewhat tragic chapter of the story, but a whole world of modern day spinoffs is on the way, and sooner than you might expect. If you thought Sheridan was slowing down anytime soon, think again, because the man has a slew of shows in the works. The busiest man in Hollywood has a ton of new shows coming our way, both this year, and beyond.

Let’s take a look at them:

Yellowstone Universe

The Madison

Premiere: Late 2025

A modern day spinoff set in the Yellowstone world, the show will star Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, Ben Schnetzer and Amiah Miller, as well as Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Alaina Pollack and Danielle Vasinova.

The story centered around a wealthy New York City family, The Clyburns, who leave the city and move to Montana following a family tragedy. The show has been dubbed a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection,” and some suspect that the story might be related to 1923.

Dutton Ranch (Placeholder Title)

Premiere: Q4 2025

After it was announced that Yellowstone would be coming to an end after the conclusion of season five, we also got wind of a new spinoff series possibly starring Matthew McConaughey and rumored to feature some of the original Yellowstone cast. But once Season 5 actually finished, it was revealed that Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly would reprise their roles as Rip and Beth to continue the Dutton saga in a new spinoff series. Cole Hauser confirmed that it won’t be called Dutton Ranch, but it WILL be premiering this year.

Y: Marshals

Premiere Date: Q1 2026

Sheridan’s first show to move away from Paramount, CBS has given a 13-episode order for a program called Y: Marshals, and Luke Grimes – A.K.A. Kayce Dutton – will reprise his role in this modern day spinoff. Yellowstone fans know well that one of the main character qualities of Kayce, the youngest of the Dutton siblings, was his prior military experience – specifically as a Navy SEAL. Based on the show’s proposed log line, it appears the series will explore his trained skillset a bit more:

“With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana, where he and his teammates must balance family, duty and the high psychological cost that comes with serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence.”

It sounds like kind of a weird premise given the fact that Kayce always seemed to be trying to escape his time in the SEAL Teams, and the violence that the Dutton Ranch brought as well, but I’m here for it. Give me Navy SEAL Kayce all day. The premiere has been confirmed for Q1 of 2026.

1944

Premiere: 2026

Another Yellowstone prequel series has been confirmed. Although there is hardly any information about it, it’s obvious that it’s set to take place smack dab in the middle of World War II, and it’ll be interesting to see the Dutton family’s involvement. Based on the timeline, we should see the story center around John Dutton’s father, John Dutton II. Paramount execs have confirmed a 2026 premiere.

6666

Unconfirmed

Many will remember in the season of Yellowstone when ranch hand Jimmy was sent down to the 6666 Ranch in Texas by John Dutton. There’s been talks about a 6666 spinoff series for some time, and since Sheridan bought the ranch, it makes sense. McConaughey has also been rumored for this one, but it seems unlikely.

Other Sheridan Shows

Tulsa King – Season 3

Premiere: September 2025

The wild show about a mob member who moved out to Tulsa, Oklahoma has been a smashing success. Not to mention, one of the GOATs Sylvester Stallone stars in it. Production for Season 3 began in March of this year and Paramount has confirmed that Season 3 will hit Paramount+ in September of this year

Mayor of Kingstown – Season 4

Premiere: October 2025

This show debuted back in November of 2021, and is based around the McLusky family in Kingstown, Michigan, a family full of power brokers between police, criminals, inmates, prison guards, and politicians, as they tackle the issues of systemic racism, corruption, and inequality within the prison system. After Renner’s miraculous recovery from a snowplow accident, he filmed Season 3, and now is in production for Season 4, which has been confirmed to premiere in October of this year.

Landman – Season 2

Premiere: November 2025

Season 1 was an absolute smash for Sheridan and company, and now, Season 2 is already in production. Sam Elliott will be joining the cast for Season 2, an ensemble that already boasts the talents of Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Demi Moore, and Andy Garcia.

Special Ops: Lioness – Season 3

Unconfirmed, but expected for 2026

Based on a real-life CIA program, the show follows a Marine recruited to befriend a daughter of a terrorist, in an effort to take down the terrorist organization. Starring Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldana as Joe, the chief of the CIA’s Lioness Program and star of the show, the series premiered in July of 2023 and Season 2 kicked off in October of 2024.

Lawmen: Bass Reeves –  Season 2

Unconfirmed

Set in the 1880s, the series stars David Oyelowo, who plays Bass Reeves, the “first African-American marshal west of the Mississippi, policing the entire Oklahoma territories.” The series premiered in November of 2023, and we saw the finale on December 17th. As of right now, there are no confirmed plans for a second season, but Oyelowo said it would happen if more people kept asking for it. Given more than a year of silence, I’m not super optimistic.

Needless to say, 2025 has the potential to be the biggest year for Taylor Sheridan yet.
