ESSE Releases Razor-Sharp House Heater, "Work It"
The enigmatic producer returns to Tchami’s Confession label with a hypnotic club weapon.

Emerging once again from the lab, ESSE has released "Work It," an industrial-strength club cut that tightens the screws on the producer's growing reputation as one of the most surgical in house music.
With "Work It," ESSE steps into top form on the back of a track that's heavy on groove. The track boasts a propulsive bassline that refuses to break stride, marching forward with a tangible sense of momentum. High-energy vocal chops drive the rhythm into overdrive, giving the track a relentless feel without tipping into excess.
The release is out by way of Tchami's Confession Records. As the imprint celebrates its 10th year of redefining house music’s contours, ESSE's latest offering arrives as a reminder of how far the sound has evolved and where it’s headed.
The track is a sharp follow-up to the producer's brooding rework of The Chemical Brothers' "Block Rockin Beats," which showcased the producer’s ambitions and ability to reimagine classics with a modern edge.
