Bunnie Xo Addresses “Shallow” Fans Who Are Saying Jelly Roll Is “Hot” Now That He’s Lost Weight: “He’s Always Had The Same Heart”

The fact that Bunnie Xo lives her life so authentically is what drew fans to her, and her no-filter personality keeps fans coming back to see what she and Jelly Roll are up to.

Recently, Bunnie Xo clapped back at fans who claimed that she’s not Bailee Ann’s mom. While Bunnie Xo fully acknowledges that Bailee Ann is not biologically her daughter, she has been in Bailee Ann’s life from a young age, and Bailee calls her “mom.” Bunnie Xo fired back at fans that Bailiee Ann’s mom has never been a present mother in her life, as she battles with addiction, and she, Bunnie Xo, has been a fierce protector and mother figure in Bailee Ann’s life, making her very much her baby.

Now, Bunnie Xo is clapping back at another sector of fans who have shallow remarks to make about Jelly Roll. It’s no secret that Jelly Roll has been undergoing a significant life transformation, losing a substantial amount of weight.

At the beginning of 2023, he publicly announced that he was starting his fitness journey, losing 23 pounds in two weeks with the help of his nutritionist, Ian Larios. Throughout the year, he continued to address his eating habits while training for his first 5K, scheduled for May 2024 in Los Angeles. Flash forward to 2025, and Jelly Roll has now lost over 200 pounds, looking nearly unrecognizable in his recent Instagram post on September 15th after performing for and meeting the Pope in Vatican City.

Jelly Roll shared in a podcast interview earlier this summer that he now weighs under 300 pounds, which is the first time since middle school that he’s seen a number like that on the scale.

“I got fat like really, really young. I was over 300 pounds coming out of middle school. I am going to be under 300 lbs for the first time since middle school, the night I walk to that ring at SummerSlam.”

And he has big goals for his weight loss, hoping to appear on a shirtless magazine cover by 2027. It’s been incredible to see Jelly Roll’s hard work pay off. He looks so healthy and has a newfound zest for life.

While most people would agree that Jelly looks incredible, Bunnie Xo does not appreciate fans who make shallow comments about his weight loss, suggesting that it is due to his becoming more attractive because of his small size. In a recent TikTok, Bunnie Xo politely responded to users who left shallow comments, encouraging them to change their perspective.

“‘Girl, your man is so hot now that he lost all of that weight.'”

Bunnie says at the start of the video, as an example of comments she sees on her posts.

“Is he? Cause he’s always had the same face. He’s always had the same heart. He’s always had the same soul. I think the most appropriate thing here to say is that he looks so much healthier now that he’s lost weight.

We’ve got to stop living in a ‘Shallow Hal’ world, guys. Because you know what? You might miss out on the best love of your life by judging somebody on their weight.”

She’s not wrong. Jelly Roll is still Jelly Roll, and although he may be a little lighter these days, he still boasts his face tattoos, has a vibrant personality, and a passion for helping others heal through his music. Jelly Roll does look incredible, but let’s remember that him losing weight is more about getting healthier than it is “looking hotter.”
