Billy Ray Cyrus Celebrates The “Love Of His Life” Elizabeth Hurley’s Birthday Hours After His Son Slams Him On Social Media

Celebrating another year around the sun.

Elizabeth Hurley celebrated her 60th birthday yesterday, and the Austin Powers actress took to Instagram to share all the things she is thankful for going into this new year.

“Happy birthday to me! This year has already been a wild ride.”

In the post, Hurley reflected on several of her business ventures, including her 30th year working with the beauty brand Estée Lauder and celebrating the 20th year of her swimsuit and beachwear company, Elizabeth Hurley Beach. However, the most important information is in the last few sentences. Hurley shares that she’s “in love” with her beau, Billy Ray Cyrus.

“and… I’m in love. Feeling very blessed and grateful for having the best friends & family in the world. Pic taken this afternoon… in my birthday suit xxx”

Hurley bared it all in the social media post, sharing an image of her sporting her birthday suit, with all of her bits and bobs covered. But, hey, if you’ve got it, flaunt it, and Elizabeth Hurley’s still got it at 60 years old.

In the post’s comments, Billy Ray Cyrus returned the statement, sharing with the public that he, too, is in love. Cyrus also shared an image of himself and Hurley for her birthday.

“Happy Birthday to the love of my life.”

Billy Ray’s post came after his son Trace Cyrus, who also begged his father to get help after his Liberty Ball performance, slammed him on social media, calling him a handful of insults.

“You’re the lamest man to ever walk planet Earth. Honestly embarrassed to ever have considered you my idol. The best thing to come from your downfall is it made me go into beast mode. I refuse to be a washed up, delusional, evil person when I’m old like you. Christ is King. Get right with God. You need it.”

But it did not stop there. Before the comment section was turned off, one person replied that his post “seemed like a cry for help,” and that Trace was letting it all out in the post because he “desperately needed attention from his father.”

Trace quickly shot that down, and later shared his response to his Instagram story:

“I’m past the point of even caring if I ever speak to him again. I’ve surpassed him in every metric as a man on this planet. There’s nothing left to learn from him except from his mistakes. I had hope at one point, but I’m convinced he’s finally a lost cause.

I’ll continue to thrive and, as the oldest son of the family, the Cyrus last name will continue through me and my many children I plan to have. I will raise them the right way and be a part of their life no matter what the circumstances are.”

OUCH.

It appears the harsh words did not reach Billy Ray, or he did not see them, given the gushing post he shared hours later celebrating his girlfriend.

When Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley got together, a source close to the couple shared that Hurley urged him to mend the broken relationships within his family, especially with Miley. The source shared that Billy Ray Cyrus thinks her close relationship with her son, Damian, is “inspiring.”

It appears that Hurley’s efforts have been working with his daughters. We’ve seen public steps in mending the relationships with Miley and Noah, and he’s been celebrating their career successes on social media.

However, it does not appear that those same steps have been taken toward mending his relationship with his son.

Hopefully, Billy Ray Cyrus can take steps to mend the relationship with Trace.
