ADE’s Educational Arm Preps for Major Expansion With “ADE Lab Village” in 2025

It takes a village to raise an artist, and the organization powering Amsterdam Dance Event is quite literally building one.

Every October, ADE sweeps through the Dutch capital with a dual personality. After dark, it’s a marathon of club nights and showcases; by day, it’s a global summit where the business and the insights of the craft of music take center stage. The organization’s daytime programming, ADE Lab, has quietly grown into one of the festival’s most dynamic funnels for new talent.

Now, in 2025, it’s the subject of another massive upgrade. Organizers have revealed plans for ADE Lab Village, a multi-venue campus spread across Westerpark. The expansion responds to swelling demand for the Lab’s masterclasses, studio sessions, demo drops and networking events. 

Instead of a single stage or building, the Village will thread together a patchwork of spaces, each serving a different facet of the creative process. WestWeelde will act as the anchor, hosting large-scale talks and masterclasses alongside a chill-out zone for impromptu meetups. The nightclub Radio Radio will feature workshops and a vinyl listening bar, while Pacific Amsterdam will mix intimate conversations with a hands-on Gear Test Lab. Even the city’s famed Gashouder club, mid-renovation, will make an appearance as the site of exclusive showcases yet to be revealed.

Passes for ADE Lab Village go on sale Thursday, August 14th and will cover the full four-day program. The full lineup of speakers, brands and artists will be announced in weeks ahead.
