A new streaming platform, LFG.TV, is betting that DJs deserve better than getting buried under gaming streams and viral TikTok dances. The service officially launches over Labor Day Weekend with a bold promise: 24/7 livestreaming for dance music culture without the usual platform headaches.

The startup tackles two major pain points plaguing DJ streamers today. First, the constant threat of DMCA takedowns that can kill a set mid-stream. Second, the challenge of standing out on platforms like Twitch, where electronic dance music competes with gaming content and fleeting social media trends for visibility.

LFG.TV’s solution centers on genre-focused channels running around the clock, paired with what the company calls a “zero-compromise approach” to music rights. According to a press release, the platform promises no takedowns and no paywalls, striving to cultivate a level playing field for bedroom DJs and festival headliners alike.

Integration partnerships with Beatport, Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer aim to solve the perennial problem of fans asking, “What’s this ID?” and the platform lets viewers instantly add songs to playlists or purchase downloads without leaving the stream.

The monetization model ditches traditional creator tier systems in favor of direct fan support through “LFG Coins,” real-time tipping and access passes. Perhaps most intriguingly, LFG.TV plans to offer DJs equity ownership opportunities, though details remain sparse.

LFG.TV is ushering in its official launch with a “global DJ marathon” on Saturday, August 30th featuring exclusive sets from influential artists like Todd Terry, David Morales and Michael Gray, among others. Industry backing from Technics, Toolroom Records, and Algoriddim lends credibility to the venture.

“This is the real deal,” Terry said. “LFG.TV gives DJs and the culture a proper home. It’s not just another platform, it’s a movement.”

“DJs are the reason why Beatport exists. We help them find the right music for their audience,” added Alex Branson, Beatport’s Senior Vice President of Industry Partnerships. “They need spaces to play in order for this music discovery ecosystem to exist. LFG.TV plugs an important gap for our global community where other multi-channel platforms have been unable to focus. Our integration with this service further supports the connection between the artist and the performer, making it even easier to find the music they want to play.”

LFG.TV officially launches worldwide directly after the pre-launch party on August 30th. DJs and EDM enthusiasts can register for the platform here.
