Shading her ex?
Over the last several months, we heard a lot about some of Zach Bryan relationships after the drama with Barstool Sports Personality Brianna Chickenfry after their very public breakup where she aired out a ton of their dirty laundry on her BFF’s podcast at the end of last year.
She painted him in a not-so-great light, and at the time, his other exes shaded him in more subtle ways, leading many to think they might have signed some sort of NDA, unlike Chickenfry, but still wanted to show their support in some way, seemingly confirming they had a similar experience with the country star that she did.
Of course, everything Bri has said should be taken with a grain of salt… it’s one side of the story, and her own co-workers have repeatedly called her out.
But Zach’s ex-wife, Rose Madden, is once again subtly addressing the nature of her relationship with him. If you’re not familiar with Rose, her and Zach met while they were both in the military, and got married in 2020. She was even featured in the original cover artwork for his 2020 album Elisabeth.
But their marriage didn’t last long, and in 2021 the two were divorced.
During the time of the Chickenfry drama, Rose reposted a video of Portnoy in the studio recording his diss track. The behind the scenes video showed the Barstool founder (and amateur rapper) behind the mic calling Zach a “b****,” a “short little b****” and an “insecure b*****,” and was captioned “me in my closet in 5th grade because my mom wouldn’t buy me an American Girl doll.”

Rose not only reposted the video but commented on it:
“Please, this is comedy gold”
And the TikTok video she shared yesterday has gone viral, where she shared an update on her life and all of the self improvements she’s made over the last three years or so. She posted a photo with her current boyfriend, and said she’s now in a “supportive, healthy relationship,” and has been in therapy for two years for PTSD and anxiety. She also said she has a very different sense of herself now:
“3.5 years sober. 3 years in a stable, supportive, healthy relationship. 2 years in therapy for PTSD and anxiety. Full-time double major student (ESCI + ANTH), Regulated nervous system (mostly lol). 20lb heavier. Grounded sense of self and self worth.”
In the next photo on the video, she shared a photo from her wedding with Zach, saying that wasn’t always the case:
“But there once was a time…”
Fans in the comments were very supportive of her, with many noting how happy they were to hear she’s doing so well, and it seems like Zach just can’t catch a break when it comes to getting shaded by his exes online.
There’s always two sides to every story, and for his part, Zach has remained completely silent when it comes to addressing any of his exes or what happened with them publicly. But they never miss a chance to take a shot at him, and it’s never been remotely positive. The post Zach Bryan’s Ex-Wife Seemingly Throws Major Shade At Him In New TikTok: “3 Years In A Healthy Relationship” first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
