We all know Luke Combs the country music star. Now, we get to know Luke Combs the golfing content creator.

At some point in his adult life, Luke Combs got bitten by the golf bug. So much so that Combs once revealed in an interview that he travels with a PGA Pro (teaching pro, not playing pro) to help him hone in his game while he’s out on the road. Luke explained that the golf instructor is a friend of a band mate, and he gets the pro out on the road whenever he’s able:

“He’s a friend of my utility player, so I met him years ago. He’s a club pro at a course in Boston and he’s (an) awesome guy, fits in with our crew. He flies out for the weekend. I try to do something (with golf) every day when I’m out there (on tour). I just try to be productive when I’m out there.

Being Luke Combs’ golf instructor as a side gig sounds sweet.

And the “Beautiful Crazy” singer more recently showed that he might have a career in golf content creation if the whole country music thing doesn’t work out. It was a classic example of looking the part (Luke even had a hat from Tiger Woods’ new golf apparel brand Sun Day Red), but not exactly backing it up with the proper golfing ability.

Unless you consider proper golfing ability to consist of:

-Throwing clubs

-Swing-induced injury

-Sarcastic responses to bad shots

-Slamming clubs

-Dropping f-bombs

If that’s what it takes, Luke Combs is already prepared to teach a golfing masterclass (maybe he could even focus on lessons with his “Spray and Pray” method). Or at the very least, he could explore being a golf content creator… which he hinted at being very interested in during the course of the video.

Well, not so much hinted at as “ready to give up his country music career for it.” The playful caption for the clip that he posted on his social media account read:

“It was nice knowing you country music, but I’m gonna have to chase my calling as a golf content creator.”
