Iconic. Ella Langley has told fans that she thinks Carter Faith will be the next big female star in country music, and I can’t say that I disagree with her: “I think that Carter Faith is going to have a massive (year)… She’s so creative, and she’s just right. Iconic.
Ella Langley has told fans that she thinks Carter Faith will be the next big female star in country music, and I can’t say that I disagree with her:
“I think that Carter Faith is going to have a massive (year)… She’s so creative, and she’s just right. She’s just one song away. I feel like she’s exactly where I was. I felt like I was one song away, and I really was just one song away. I think Carter is somebody who’s going to be around for a long time.”
The North Carolina native is a blonde firecracker who describes her music as “a cowgirl hippie and sometimes kind of trippy.” Faith has collaborated with artists like Sam Williams, Alison Krauss, Tyler Halverson, and Corey Kent. She’s also been touring with Luke Grimes, 49 Winchester, Carly Pearce, and more.
Faith’s lyrics are spoken from the heart, even if that means she’s breaking the Southern Belle mold and telling people how she really feels, like she does charmingly on her tune “Grudge.”
“If I were a good Christian woman (Like you), I’d probably forgive
But I’m pretty sure that even Jesus thinks that you’re a b*tch
Someone hold my beer ’cause I can’t hold my tongue
But I can hold one hell of a grudge”
If you like that snippet of lyrics, then I’d bet you’ll also enjoy an unreleased song she’s been teasing. It’s named after Landman star Billy Bob Thornton. After debuting it at the Blue Bird Cafe, Faith recently started teasing the song heavily.
