On a rocket to the moon.

A little over a week ago, Treaty Oak Revival released their highly-anticipated third studio album West Texas Degenerate, and it’s off to a huge start.

If you haven’t listened yet, you’re missing out… West Texas Degenerate is an incredible project, full of that signature rocking sound, Texas twang and pop-punk influence, with features from William Clark Green, Muscadine Bloodline and more, and the tracklist consists of 14 tracks, including the previously released singles “Bad State of Mind” and “Happy Face.”

Fans have been loving it, and the proof is in the numbers.

Following release week, Treaty Oak Revival has scored their first #1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums and Americana/Folk Albums charts. It’s of course the biggest debut of their career so far, and the album also debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, #3 on Top Country Albums chart, #21 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, and #30 on Top Billboard Canadian Albums, with each previously unreleased song taking over the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart.

It’s impressive, to say the least, and the band says they’re “blown away” at the early success of the record:

“We’re honestly blown away. Seeing this record land at No. 1 on Top Rock albums as well as No. 21 on the Billboard 200 and debut across country, rock, Americana/folk, and even in Canada is something we could only dream of!

We’re just a band from Odessa Texas, chasing a dream, and the fact that it’s connecting like this is all because of the people listening, sharing, and showing up to the shows. We don’t take a single stream, ticket, or chart position for granted. Thank you for giving this album a life way bigger than us.”

Their style is a really cool, high-energy blend of Texas Red Dirt country, Southern rock, and punk rock, making them an incredibly unique fixture in the country scene right now, clearly with tons of crossover appeal.

And if they’re on your concert bucket list like they are mine, you’re in luck, because they also just announced an extensive 20226 headlining tour. They’re bringing along Wade Forster, William Clark Green, Laredo, Huser Brothers, Gannon Fremin & CCREV, and Parker Ryan, as openers, and the full list of dates, as well as openers for each city, is available below.

Speaking of all of their Texas friends, they also just put out a great, very late-90s and pop punk inspired music video for “Blue Star,” which features musicians, including Koe Wetzel, Belmont, Dexter & The Moonrocks, Gannon Fremin, William Clark Green and more.
