Texas Couple Goes Viral For Dangerous Snake Stunt Gender Reveal: “I’d Guess Florida”

Well, folks, the internet has outdone itself.

If you may recall, a few weeks ago here at Whiskey Riff, we were stunned to see a very unconventional gender reveal. After years of over-the-top gender reveals, I felt like the public was beginning to tone it down and hold more intimate reveals with close friends and family, later sharing the child with the world.

But just like the devil works hard, my TikTok algorithm works harder, and my For You Page showed me a gender reveal that left me speechless. A woman and her husband used their septic truck to spray a colored powder into the air. Yes, dear readers, you read that sentence correctly. This couple used a septic truck. Yes, the truck that sucks up our bodily excretions from the sewer or out of a septic tank.

Needless to say, the comments on the post were crazy before the creator turned them off.

“Did the blue cloud smell like a fart?”

“The downwind on this is crazy.”

After reporting on this gender reveal, I was convinced this was the most outlandish reveal in the books. However, the internet has chosen to laugh in my face and prove to me that there are people with even wilder ideas on this earth. In a recent viral TikTok video, a snake-loving couple used a reptile to help reveal the gender of their baby. And before you make comments about how this is so Florida Man coded, the creator clarified in the comments that they are actually Texans. Although if this did take place in Florida, that would make this story so much better.

While there’s no indication in this creator’s bio that they work in the reptile industry, it would seem like this isn’t their first rodeo. It’s a very similar vibe to the septic truck reveal. There must be some personal connection for someone to come up with an idea like this.

For the grand reveal, the man has a snake on a folding table, trying to gain the snake’s attention with a long rod. His woman stands beside him as he lures the snake to bite a balloon that he is holding in his mouth. Nothing could go wrong there, right?!

Thankfully, the snake struck the balloon in the right place, and pink confetti went everywhere.

While it’s beyond exciting to celebrate bringing a new child into the world and revealing their gender, can we go back to methods that are not public safety hazards? Can you imagine having to one day tell your kid that Dad has a giant scar on his face from getting bitten during a gender reveal?
