Taylor Swift Reportedly Paid Another Bride To Move Her Wedding So She & Travis Kelce Could Have Her Preferred Date

Looks like somebody just got their wedding paid for.

For everybody who’s just been sitting around anxiously waiting to find out when pop superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce would be tying the knot, today’s your lucky day.

The couple started dating back in 2023, and got engaged back on August 26 during a lavish proposal in the garden of his Kansas City home.

Since then, we haven’t really heard much about the wedding as I’m sure Taylor has been busy planning every detail of her big day and Travis just goes along with whatever she wants (especially since he revealed that they’ve never argued during their relationship…if they can make it through planning a wedding without arguing, they’ll be together forever).

But today, we finally got an update as it was revealed that the couple has reportedly settled on a wedding date.

According to Page Six, the couple will be tying the knot on June 13, 2026 at Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.

The date apparently has a lot of significance for Swift, who’s into numerology and all that crap. As Swifties know, the pop star’s favorite number is 13, and according to Page Six:

“When written numerically, it comes out to 6/13/26. Six plus one plus three plus two plus six equals 18, and one plus eight equals nine.

According to Numerology.com, the energy of the number nine represents completion in a cyclical sense; it’s about the ending of one cycle, which creates the potential for another cycle to begin.

Wonder what would have happened if her preferred date had been during football season…

But anyway, apparently Swift hit a snag when trying to get her dream wedding venue and date: It was already booked for another wedding.

Now you can probably guess where this is going: Swift is a billionaire, and apparently she was willing to cut a check to get what she wants – so she reportedly paid the bride who had the venue booked on her preferred date to move her wedding.

It’s not clear whether the bride had to change her wedding date or simply find a new venue, and it hasn’t been reported just how much Swift paid to lock down her wedding plans, but you’ve gotta think that whoever this other bride is probably already has money since she was planning on getting married at the same ritzy venue as Taylor Swift. That means it was probably a pretty sizeable check (at least to most people) to get her to move her wedding.

I mean, on one hand she was probably upset about losing out on her dream wedding date and venue.
