Season 2 of Landman will be here before we know it.

Don’t you love that Taylor Sheridan keeps his shows on a tight, continuous release schedule? While some other shows wait years before their seasons, the mind behind Yellowstone takes pride in releasing one season per year. The second season of Landman is set to release on November 16 – almost exactly a year after the show’s first season (it aired on November 17, 2024).

That means that we’re just a couple of months away from seeing Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris and Demi Moore’s Cami Miller back on our television screens. That’s a beautiful thing, if you ask me.

Fans of the show can only hope that Landman‘s second season delivers as many memorable moments as the first. It seemed like every week, another clip from the show was going viral online. And I imagine that the addition of actors Andy Garcia (who will play a cartel boss) and Sam Elliott (who will play Tommy Norris’ father) can only help elevate the hit series to the next level… and raise the stakes even higher.

Speaking of additions, the hit Paramount+ show also brought on Miriam Silverman to the cast to play Greta Stidham, whose character is described as an “intimidating university admissions counselor.” It certainly seems like the Norris family will have plenty on their plates with, you know, the cartel. But based on a recent quote from Silverman, they’re could be some trouble in a different department for Ali Larter’s Angela and Michelle Randolph’s Ainsley.

While Silverman was on the red carpet for another film of hers, she was asked about her experience being a part of the second season of Landman. She first shared that the show wrapped filming weeks ago (something Ali Larter has also confirmed), and that she was very grateful to be a part of it.

Then, she ended up giving some insight into who her new character will cross paths with the most, and teased that she got to “square off” with two characters in particular the most:

“We wrapped! We wrapped a few weeks ago, so we do that, and I am actually here in Toronto filming a new series called Vladimir for Netflix. I’ve been doing that, and it’s been a great summer. It was so delightful. Billy Bob (Thornton) could not be more of a welcoming, warm, caring presence.

He’s such an incredible actor, and Demi (Moore) is such an incredible actress. She really comes into focus more this season. Most of my stuff is with Michelle Randolph and Ali Larter, who are both brilliant geniuses. I get to square off with both of them, and it’s really fun.”

Sounds like Angela and Ainsley will have their own war that they are waging in the show’s second season… even if it may pale in comparison (and seriousness) to the cartel issues that Tommy Norris will have to circumnavigate when the show returns. And boy, oh boy, I can’t wait until that day.

Especially after seeing the first teaser that was dropped for the Season 2 of Landman:
