As for Calvert-Lewin, he is understood to have held talks with Leeds earlier in the summer, but they were put off by his wage demands. Daniel Farke’s side won the Championship last season to seal their return to the Premier League. Elsewhere, Calvert-Lewin has also held discussions with Newcastle over a potential switch to St. James’ Park. Their interest came amid Manchester United considering a switch for the former Sheffield United star.
