The “Just In Case” singer is headed to the Buckeye State this weekend for a pair of shows on Friday (August 15) and Saturday (August 16). Wallen will take over Huntington Bank Field for the two nights, and will have Miranda Lambert, Gavin Adcock and Zach John King featured as openers on Friday, and Thomas Rhett, Gavin Adcock and Zach John King the following night.
Over 100,000 collective fans are expected to attend the two nights of shows that are a part of Wallen’s 2025 I’m The Problem Tour. So we know who the openers are going to be both nights, and we know that thousands of country music faithful will be there. The only question mark about who is going to be there? That’d be the famous celebrities that join Morgan Wallen for his walkout.
Wallen’s walkout has become just as important as the concert itself. We’ve seen countless viral moments created already just by Morgan having the likes of Brett Favre, Mattress Mack, and Drake walk out with him at different concerts he’s put on across the country.
Typically, the high-profile figures that help with the walkout have some sort of tie to the area… so I got to thinking. Could we try to predict some celebrities and athletes that join Morgan Wallen for his walk out? Personally, I don’t see why not, so I’ve gathered my best guesses as to who could walk out with Wallen on one (or both) of his Cleveland, Ohio concerts this weekend.
Lil Wayne
This is the one I feel the best about. Legendary rapper Lil Wayne just recently collaborated with Morgan Wallen for his “Miami” remix. Throw in the fact that Lil Wayne is playing less than an hour away from Huntington Bank Field the night before and you’ve got yourself what seems to be a collision course. Looks like the second night would be off limits for Lil Wayne, since he has a concert of his own in Cincinnati, but I’ve got a good feeling Weezy could show up on night one. And if not during the walkout, how about a surprise performance?
Machine Gun Kelly
Machine Gun Kelly was raised in Cleveland, and there’s even an “MGK Day” that the city recognizes and celebrates every year. MGK and Wallen have even crossed paths in the past, when Machine Gun Kelly was somewhat of an opener (joined Jelly Roll on stage for a song) for Wallen last year. There are no conflicting tour dates for Machine Gun Kelly, and MGK has been hanging around the country music genre recently. You can’t rule him out for a walkout.
Myles Garrett
Now we get into the sports section of the predictions. We’ve seen time and time again that Morgan Wallen loves to bring out professional athletes that are in the area. There’s not another athlete that represents the Cleveland Browns more than star defensive end Myles Garrett. Put him in full pads and he’d be a scary and menacing addition to the walkout this weekend.
Shedeur Sanders
Shedeur might be listed as fourth (last) on Cleveland’s QB depth chart, but that doesn’t mean he can’t walk out with Morgan Wallen. Would walking out with a country music superstar as the 4th stringer look bad? Well, the optics wouldn’t be great, I’ll say that. However, out of the other quarterback options (Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel), Sanders is probably the likeliest candidate. Can’t rule out any of the QBs though… well, except Deshaun Watson.
Joe Thomas
NFL Network analyst and former Cleveland Brown Joe Thomas could very well be a part of Morgan Wallen’s pre-concert ritual. He’d get the people of Cleveland going, and the walkout is all about bringing the energy. The former offensive tackle is a fan favorite in Browns country, and he could be a welcome addition to the walkout.
The Kelce Brothers
Alright… this one is probably a bit of a long shot. If both Travis and Jason Kelce – who are originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area – are available, they’d be candidates for a Morgan Wallen walkout. Seems like they are both currently swamped with releasing their Taylor Swift New Heights episode, but who’s to say they can’t wrap that up and be at Huntington Bank Field on Friday or Sunday night?
Donovan Mitchell
If I’m going to shout out all of these NFL players, I’ve got to shine a light on a current NBA star that could make it to the Morgan Wallen concert. Obviously, anyone from the Cleveland Cavaliers team would be a good guess. Their biggest star is undoubtedly Donovan Mitchell… it’s just not know if he’s a big country music fan or not. If he does show up though, I wouldn’t be surprised if center Evan Mobley or guard Darius Garland also joined in on the walkout.
Jake/Logan Paul
The Paul brothers also hail from the Cleveland area, but like the aforementioned set of brothers, this one also feels like a longshot.
LeBron James
I left the longest of the long shots for last. LeBron James famously hails from Akron, Ohio, and had to historic stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Just as Cavs players are currently in the offseason, LeBron James could make a trip to Cleveland, Ohio for the weekend if he wanted to. If Morgan Wallen got LeBron James to participate in his walk out in Cleveland, it’d be legendary… and it could even spark some “Bron back to the Cavs” trade rumors.
