‘Null and void’ – fans slam ‘criminal’ omission as Premier League Hall of Fame nominations announced

Reacting to his latest snub, one supporter wrote: “Whole thing is null and void without Ryan Giggs.” Another fan also commented: “Ryan Giggs, the most decorated player in Premier League history not (being) on here is criminal.” Giggs spent his entire playing career at Old Trafford after progressing through United’s academy. He would also feature in their first-ever Premier League match in August 1992 aged just 18. Across the next 22 seasons, Giggs made 632 appearances in the competition, the third-highest of any player.
