Miranda Lambert has a long history of philanthropy and charity work throughout her career. Beyond her notable inclusion in this year’s effort to provide relief for the horrific 4th of July floods in central Texas, most notably co-hosting Band Together Texas with Parker McCollum and raising over $8.5 million, the “Kerosene” singer has also been providing care in a plethora of different ways throughout the years through her nonprofit organization, MuttNation.

In case you didn’t know, the Texas native founded the nonprofit all the way back in 2009 with her mother, Bev. Beyond providing a plethora of different animal-centric services such as adoption drives, grants for volunteer work at shelters, donations to shelters and pet transport services, MuttNation has also provided emergency disaster relief. They played a key role in animal rescue efforts in Texas and Lousiana after the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey in 2017. More recently, they partnered with Tractor Supply Relief to donate over $300,000 in additional relief for shelters affected by the aforementioned Texas floods.

Fresh off the aforementioned Band Together Texas venture in July, Lambert has once again raised money for a plethora of good causes, this time with the Academy of Country Music.

This past Saturday, September 13, Lambert and the Academy joined together for the first ever “ACM Presents Wine & Country” at Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California. The event, which featured a pre-show wine and caviar reception and an intimate private concert with Lambert along with a poolside meet-and-greet, proved to be a great success.

Through the price of the ticket itself, sponsored tables and a luxury silent auction, the event raised over $420,000, supporting a four seperate causes including ACM Lifting Lives, Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation, the Hearst Cancer Resource Center and The Foundation at Hearst Castle.

ACM Lifting Lives, in particular, is undoubtedly one of the most important and overlooked aspects of the Academy. Working with artists, veterans, children’s hospitals and more, Lifting Lives has given over $10 million to over 150 different causes since 2006 and has provided relief to a plethora of artists during hardships.

As for Hearst Cancer Resource Center and The Foundation at Hearst Castle, the proceeds will directly benefit the Resouce Center’s free support services for cancer patients and their families and The Foundation’s preservation of Hearst Castle respectively.

Reflecting on the event, Academy of Country Music CEO Damon Whiteside said:

“We’re so thrilled to have gone back to our California roots to celebrate Country Music and raise money for important charities in this beautiful, unique setting. We’re grateful for this collaboration with the Hearst Ranch Winery, the Foundation at Hearst Castle, and the most-awarded artist in the Academy’s 60-year history, Miranda Lambert, benefiting such incredible non-profits—MuttNation Foundation, ACM Lifting Lives, the Hearst Cancer Resource Center, and The Foundation at Hearst Castle—each embodying compassion, creativity, and community.”

Overall, the first-ever “Wine & Country” event was an absolute success for both the Academy and Lambert. As of now, there is no confirmation of a second event heading into 2026.The post Miranda Lambert Raises Over $420,000 At First-Ever ACM Presents Wine & Country Event first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
