It’s safe to say that a new Luke Combs album is coming sooner than later.

Beyond the release of “Back in the Saddle” back in July, which has already scored Combs his 24th Top 10 hit on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, the North Carolina native also dropped a set of 14 demos on a secret Instagram account created in August.

In case you missed it, the “Beautiful Crazy” singer has been toying with the idea of “crowdsourcing” the new record, which basically means calling on fans to help figure out the tracklist. Overall, it’s a pretty unique concept that I personally don’t recall any country artist doing in recent memory.

As previously mentioned, Combs dropped a set of 14 demos that gave fans a taste of what’s to come on the new record, but there was another song that was teased back in May that really caught the ears of fans. That song, of course, was the previously unreleased “My Kinda Saturday Night,” which procured over 1.6 million views, 160.5k likes and over 2,000 comments (most begging for an official release) upon posting.

On Monday, he took to Instagram to announce that he officially recorded the viral track, and fans were through the roof, claiming that the old Luke Combs is officially back and once again begging for a release.

Combs wasn’t done delivering long-awaited music this week, however. Last night, the 35-year-old singer/songwriter reached deep into the vault and teased the studio recording of none other than “Days Like These,” a song first posted acoustically on his Youtube channel back in November 2023.

Taking to Instagram, Combs confirmed to fans that he had not, in fact, forgot about the song two years later:

“Y’all probably thought I had forgotten about ‘Days Like These.’ Can confirm I did not.”

And judging by the teaser shared, it looks like Combs is going to take the acoustic nature of the original over to the official release. Backed only by an acoustic guitar in the snippet, he delivers a beautiful ballad about enjoying the simplicities of life with his wife, Nicole. Feeling reminiscent of Chris Stapleton’s “Millionaire,” Combs notes how money can’t buy the happiness found in the titular, “days like these.”

“When the sky is blue and the grass is green
How much better can it be?
If I got you, and you got me
We got everything we need
Even if it grew on trees
Money can’t buy days like these”

Like “My Kinda Saturday Night,” there is no confirmed release date for “Days Like These.” With that being said, however, it’s becoming more and more apparent by the day that an album announcement from Combs is coming very soon. Between the success of both of the aforementioned teasers, the buzz created with the demos back in August, it’s hard to imagine that he won’t officially confirm an album by the end of the year at this point.

For now, however, we’ll just have to wait and see.
