Our children go to the same school and they like to play together, so it was just a friendly chat.” Likewise to Man City, Newcastle have Saudi Arabian investment and could possibly afford high wages.  His performance on Saturday, during Man City’s 5-2 comeback win over Crystal Palace, showed that his wages are a small price to pay for the impact he brings to the team. He scored Man City’s first goal, whipping in a 25-yard free-kick off the post. The hosts then took the lead with De Bruyne setting up Mateo Kovacic. Morgan Gibbs-White and Florian Wirtz are on Man City’s radar but to cover the void left by De Bruyne current squad players must shoulder the creative responsibility.
