Post Malone is rocking some new face tattoos.

Last night, Jelly Roll made his late-night hosting debut, taking over for Jimmy Kimmel. Leading up to showtime, Jelly Roll took a few minutes to share how excited he was to host on a late-night show that showcased his talent and gave him numerous opportunities.

“Oh, what a beautiful day it is, everybody, man! The first time a late-night TV show offered me to do a skit, I did it right here at ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ The first time I got to talk on a couch on late-night TV was here at ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ And TONIGHT, BABY! Tonight and tomorrow night, I AM Jimmy Kimmel. That’s right, they blew it, y’all. They let the big white trash in to take over, baby.”

Jelly Roll kicked off his first night of hosting, opening the show with a hilarious monologue.

“Do not adjust your TV — Jimmy did not join MS-13. I am your guest host, Jelly Roll. Tune in, baby.

Now y’all know every guest gets on here, and they say it’s great to be here. But I want to talk to y’all. Speaking as a guy who has been to prison before, it really is great to be here.

Actually, it’s kind of great to be anywhere. Hell, I walked into a DMV yesterday, and I was like, ‘This is f****** awesome. God, this is great.'”

That got me giggling. Jelly Roll is not afraid to talk about how he’s put in honest work to turn around his life after being incarcerated a total of 40 times, with early run-ins with the police starting before he could drive. He truly has defined the odds, but some self-deprecating humor always gives the crowd a chuckle.

Although Jelly Roll came out of the gate as a natural late-night talk show host, he told fans that if things took a turn for the worse, is not the CMA Award-winning artist Jelly Roll, and instead offered a pseudo identity for viewers to refer to him as:

“I need y’all to be patient with me tonight. This is my first time doing something like this, and I’m going to try my best. I am. But if I really suck bad, y’all just remember… My name is Post Malone.”

HA. Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, could have introduced himself as that, and people would have still been confused. Jelly Roll is his brand, his image, and who he is through and through.

Luckily for the Big A** Stadium Tour‘s headlining artist, Jelly Roll crushed the whole show, and Post Malone will not have people slandering his name online. Given that Post Malone and Jelly Roll have formed a genuine friendship, I am sure that Posty was chuckling while watching this bit as well.

Post Malone Shares He And Jelly Roll Will Tour Together In 2026

Is the Big A** Stadium Tour getting extended? Post Malone and Jelly Roll (and Sierra Ferrell) have had a ball out on the road together, and it’s not over yet. In August, the two will head across the seas for the Big A** World Tour, where Jelly Roll will again join the “Finer Things” singer on select dates.

Luckily for anyone who missed this pair on the road this year, Post Malone shared some exciting news that they plan to run it back in 2026.

While performing in San Francisco, Post Malone decided to take a second to share a few words with the crowd before welcoming Jelly Roll back to the stage for their debut of “Losers.”

“Whenever you book a tour like this, you think about who’s gonna come on stage and sing every night with you. Ladies and gentlemen, the label sent me a long, long list of names. I knew in the bottom of my heart there was only one mother****er I wanted to do this with.”

Jelly Roll walks out onto the stage after that statement, and the crowd begins to cheer as Post Malone continues.

And I learned as of a couple of days ago that we get to go out and do this s*** next f***** summer too, ladies and gentlemen.”

The two embrace in a big bear hug, and the crowd goes wild. Post Malone then shares a few kind words about Jelly Roll to the crowd.

“There’s only one mother****er that I’d ever want to take on my first stadiums. And not only is this man one of the talented mother****** I’ve had the opportunity of knowing. Not only one of the kindest mother****ers I’ve ever had the opportunity of knowing. And the most generous and wisest. Ladies and gentlemen, he’s just a great f****** man and I can’t even put it into words.”

After dropping that huge announcement that he and Jelly will hit the road together again in 2026, he says that he’s so thankful to have had Jelly on this tour with him and that singing together on the night has been very special for him.

Seeing the friendship between these two blossom while they’re on tour is heartwarming. There have been many memorable tour moments so far, including my favorite of Post Malone meeting Jelly Roll’s mother, and I can’t wait to see what more moments are to come.

I hope we receive an official announcement soon about what these two are cooking up. But in the meantime, check out their upcoming tour dates.
